Radamel Falcao wins Globe Soccer's 2012 Best Player of the Year Award

Globe Soccer is an annual meeting for all the main market operators which is a breakthrough in the international football transfer market. It is now seen as one of the world’s most exclusive events where the main market operators such as international clubs, leagues, federations and football institutions can meet and talk. Globe Soccer’s mission is to ensure sector operators from around the world have a chance to meet on the eve of the final market window envisaged by FIFA. In this sense the result has already gone beyond expectations. Over 4,000 accredited participants from 50 different countries, meeting in an event that is not to be missed. These are the numbers of Globe Soccer which, better than any other statistic, bear witness to the interest generated by the event. The figures are those which only a great event can register: the first three editions have involved over 50 countries and welcomed over 4,000 participants, including delegates and accredited representatives. The organisers achieved these results by drawing on the exclusive relationship with the local authorities and thanks to the participation of guests representing FIFA, UEFA, ECA, and EFAA, as well as from the main clubs and institutions.

The Globe Soccer Awards is an annual association football award given by Globe Soccer to the best player of year in the world. As from the 2nd edition of Globe Soccer the Globe Soccer Awards have taken place, dedicated to the best football director and agent of the year. The Awards, the key celebratory moment of the event, as from their first edition, are presented during the official gala dinner, which takes place in an exclusive position in the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world. In this breathtaking scenario, the main names from the football scene from all the continents have taken part in the awards ceremony which is transmitted live on Dubai Sports Channel. EFAA, the European Football Agents Association and ECA, the European Club Association, have been involved in the growth of the event from the start and have appreciated its rationale and potential. During the 3rd edition of Globe Soccer, thanks to the collaboration of the Spanish Football Federation, FC Barcelona and FC Porto, the World Cup, the Champions League and the Europa League were displayed together for the first time.
