I am a Boisean Mensan with eclectic interests, a civil servant, a long-time co-administrator of INFJ-L (the oldest and second-largest mailing list for that personality type on the Internet), an outlier, and an early lifetime LibraryThing member (1,070 books and counting). Just another geek!
I was the catalog editor at Blue Dove Press in San Diego for a couple of years ("Saints and Sages of the East and West"), and like Jorge Luis Borges I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library. I have other ideas about Heaven too, but that said I've done a fair amount of editing and ghostwriting in my time.
I have been told that I'm an interesting mix of the sacred and profane, but personally I think "the vulgar and arcane" more accurate -not to put too fine a point on it!
Technically I'm severely deaf, but my digital hearing aids have induction coils so using the phone is no problem.
I'm happily running SUSE Linux 10.0 (highly recommended), I'm doubtless a mild anime otaku, and if I fancy that I were a programmer I'd program in Perl.
