There are only 2 islands on the Blacksea. One of these island is seen from Cebeci. There are also some castle ruins from Byzantium. Cebeci, which is 27 km away from Kandıra; Sarısu, which is 8 km away from Kandıra Bayramoğlu and Eskihisar which is 6 km away from Gebze are the other beaches of the city. People come to Cebeci to see sunset.
