The World Church of the Creator (WCOTC) is a pro-white religion, recognized as a non-profit organization, and is a white supremacist group. It is dedicated to the "survival, expansion, and advancement of the White Race exclusively".
Originally called simply the Church of the Creator, the organization was founded in 1973 by Ben Klassen and currently led by Matt Hale. At the time of its creation, Klassen wrote, "We completely reject the Judeo-democratic-Marxist values of today and supplant them with new and basic values, of which race is the foundation."
One of the darkest events in the Church's history came about when an African-American Persian Gulf War veteran named Harold Mansfield Jr. was murdered in a Neptune Beach, Florida parking lot. Two members of the Church of the Creator, George and Barbara Loeb, were arrested on June 6, 1991 and charged with the crime. Loeb was convicted of first degree murder on July 29, 1992, and received a life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years; his wife Barbara was sentenced to one year in jail on weapons possession charges. In March 1994, the murder victim's family successfully sued the Church of the Creator, winning an award of $1 million in damages.
After the judgement was handed down, Klassen sold the organization's North Carolina compound, which housed its headquarters, in an attempt to unload the assets of the organization. He chose a former telemarketer named Richard McCarty as his successor, who moved the organization's headquarters to Niceville, Florida. Soon after appointing McCarty in the summer of 1993, Klassen committed suicide by swallowing four bottles of sleeping pills. In his farewell note, he made reference to The White Man's Bible, which describes suicide as "an honorable and dignified way to die for any ... of a number of reasons, such as having come to the decision that life is no longer worthwhile."
In 1999, the group earned further attention after member Nathaniel Smith went on a shooting spree on the weekend of July 4, 1999. Smith is viewed as a martyr by the WCOTC.
On July 22, 2002, two members of the organization were found guilty in federal court of plotting to blow up Jewish and Black landmarks around Boston, Massachusetts, in what prosecutors said was a scheme to spark a "racial holy war." A federal jury deliberated seven hours over two days before convicting Leo Felton, the 31-year-old the mixed-race son of civil rights activists, and his 22-year-old girlfriend, Erica Chase.
A January 11, 2003 speech by Hale was titled, The Invasion of Maine by Somalis and How We Can End It.
Beliefs of the World Church of the Creator
- White people are the creators of all worthwhile culture and civilization.
- The White race is nature's finest achievement.
- The objective of the Church is the Survival, Expansion and Advancement of the White Race.
- We are racists because we believe in Race.
- We are anti-Semites because we oppose the Jews.
- We don't exist out of hatred for other races, but out of love for the White Race. However, if you love and want to defend your own White Race; then hate for your enemies is inevitable.
- Christianity teaches "love your enemies", "sell all thou hast and give it to the poor", "resist not evil", "judge not", "turn the other cheek." Christianity is destructive and suicidal.
- Rome enjoyed two centuries of peace and prosperity. Christianity poisoned the Roman mind.
- The Jews published the growth of their total world population between 1938 and 1948, as increasing from approximately 16,600,000 to 17,650,000, an increase of over a million. This would be an outrageous impossibility, if it had been decimated by 6,000,000 during this same period.
- Had America not pursued a program of pushing onward and crowding the Indian, we would never have built this great stronghold of the White Race which we now call America. This is the real American way and we of the WORLD CHURCH OF THE CREATOR are expanding the American way on a worldwide basis.
- The more the mud races expand and multiply, the more we are rob future generations of food, space and existence on this planet Earth. Furthermore, they have viciously driven out the White population in many countries of Africa!
- Just as the Muslims have "jihad", we have "RAHOWA" (Racial Holy War).
