Sovereign Press, Incorporated is a publisher and distributor of role-playing games based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It was founded in 2001 by Margaret Weis and Don Perrin and is one of two companies that Weis owns.

Sovereign Press released the Sovereign Stone role-playing game and had the license from Wizards of the Coast to release new Dragonlance role-playing products. The publishing of fiction set in the Dragonlance milieu is still handled by Wizards of the Coast. Sovereign had acquired the rights to publish a Battlestar Galactica role-playing game. Currently all RPG's being made by Weis are now going through Margaret Weis Productions. The RPG's include: Leverage, Smallville and Marvel Heroic Heroes, and a new Firefly RPG is in production. The following RPG's are no longer in production: Serenity, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, Castlemourn and Demon Hunters. Confusingly although the Firefly and Serenity RPGs are superficially simmilar, the Serenity (RPG) only had rights to the Serenity film, and the Firefly (RPG) only has rights to the Firefly TV series - and the Cortex system of Serenity is different from the Cortex+ system of Firefly.
