The fictional characters of Power Rangers Megaforce include the Power Rangers, their enemies, and their friends and allies in the battle.

Megaforce Power Rangers

The Megaforce Power Rangers are the eponymous protagonists of the series. They are five teenagers with attitude chosen by Gosei to save the Earth from the Warstar aliens. In order to transform into the Megaforce Rangers, they use the Gosei Morphers by calling out "It's Morphin' Time! Go Go Megaforce!". They wield the Power Cards in battle, which they use to perform certain attacks and to summon their personal weapons which merge to form the Megaforce Blaster. Each Ranger carries a Mega Blaster as a side arm that they use for special attacks.

Troy Burrows

Troy Burrows is new in town and a loner to start with, but he is fast at making friends when he joins the Megaforce. He had a tough upbringing that made him responsible and focused, making Troy leader material in the opinion of Gosei, which when combined with his compassion, loyalty, and support of the underdog, makes him the perfect role model for a Ranger. Troy also has dreams involving his team's predecessors fighting an unknown evil, a premonition that eventually comes true in the finale of Power Rangers Super Megaforce. He wields the elemental power of air and the conjuring of the Sky Brothers, which may then be used in the Sky Blast.

He wields the Dragon Sword in battle and pilots the Dragon MechaZord.

Troy is portrayed by Andrew Gray.

Noah Carver

Noah Carver is a tech geek and uses his intelligence rather than brute strength in battle. He is best friends with Jake and they are a perfect team together. Noah is also interested in the supernatural. He is also second-in-command of the team.

He wields the Shark Bowgun in battle and pilots the Shark MechaZord, controlling the elemental power of water and the willing invoke of the Sea Brothers, which may then be used to produce the Sea Blast.

Noah is portrayed by John Mark Loudermilk.

Gia Moran

Gia Moran is labeled as "Miss Perfect". Gia is pretty, personable, skilled in martial arts, and as intelligent as she is confident. She and Emma have been best friends since they were very young, and this has not stopped despite now being in different social circles. This friendship is tested by Beezara's spell in the episode "United We Stand". She wields the elemental power of earth and has access to the Land Brothers if the situation calls for it, making them useful for the Ultimate Dino Blast.

Gia wields the Tiger Claw in battle and pilots the Tiger MechaZord.

Gia is portrayed by Ciara Hanna.

Jake Holling

Jake Holling is out-going, optimistic, fun-loving, and fearless, whether on the battlefield or in social situations. He wants very much to make his identity as the Black Megaforce Ranger public, but like the others is sworn to secrecy. His only weakness is his crush on Gia, which later provokes jealousy when Orion arrives in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. He wields the elemental power of earth and can call upon the Land Brothers whenever needed.

Jake wields the Snake Axe in battle and pilots the Snake MechaZord.

Jake is portrayed by Azim Rizk.

Emma Goodall

Emma Goodall is a BMX biker who loves nature and wants to protect the environment, taking the alien attack on Earth and the Toxic Mutants' campaign to pollute the Earth very personally. In the episode "Harmony and Dizchord", it is revealed that Emma has an excellent singing voice which she inherited from her late mother. She uses this to counteract Dizchord's attack. She wields the elemental power of air and can summon the Sky Brothers at will, which may then be used for either the Sky Blast or the Ultimate Dino Blast.

She wields the Phoenix Shot in battle and pilots the Phoenix MechaZord.

Emma is portrayed by Christina Masterson.

Allies

Gosei

Gosei is a supernatural guardian who is Zordon's apprentice, and was tasked by his mentor to be Earth's new guardian. Awakened upon being alerted of Warstar's invasion, Gosei recruits five teenagers to become the Megaforce Power Rangers. He has taken the physical appearance of a tiki head. The Gosei Morpher's design was inspired by Gosei.

Gosei is voiced by Geoffrey Dolan.

Tensou

Tensou is Gosei's faithful and playful robotic assistant who assists the Rangers by providing them new weapons and arsenal as well as locating their enemies with an advanced radar system if they are on the Earth. He is also shy and slightly clumsy.

Tensou is voiced by Estevez Gillespie.

Ernie

Ernie is the manager of the local juice bar "Ernie's BrainFreeze." He is frequently acquainted by the Rangers during their free time.

Ernie is portrayed by Shailesh Prajapati.

Mr. Burley

Mr. Burley is the high school science teacher at Harwood County High School. He is also considered to be a believer of the paranormal and other supernatural phenomena. Noah shows plenty of interest in his work.

Mr. Burley is portrayed by Ian Harcourt.

Robo Knight

Robo Knight at first appears in Troy's dream involving the previous Power Ranger teams fighting an unknown evil. It is later revealed that he was previously created by Gosei to serve as the protector of Earth and would emerge when the Earth is threatened. During his time in dormancy, Robo Knight lost some of his memories including the one where Gosei created him. When the Mutants emerge to pollute the planet, Robo Knight arrives and helps the Megaforce Rangers fight Hisser. Afterwards, Robo Knight leaves them. Gosei tells the Rangers that Robo Knight has to re-learn his origin if he and the Rangers are to combat the threats to the Earth. Robo Knight used to be very different from the Rangers. He fought without thinking about human sacrifices, and usually left the saving to the Mega Rangers. However, due to living with human beings, he begins to develop his own humanity and eventually decided to defend it due to guarding life being as important as protecting planet Earth itself.

Robo Knight has the ability to turn into the Lion Zord which also serves as his quick transportation. The Lion Zord can also combine with a dump truck to become the Lion MechaZord. Robo Knight also possesses the Sky Lion Zord and the Sea Lion Zord which can combine with the Lion MechaZord to form the Gosei Grand Megazord.

Robo Knight is voiced by Chris Auer.

Wild Sword

The Wild Sword is an ancient weapon said to bestow untold might to the one who could release it from its resting place, a rocky outcrop containing the sword embedded deep into hard, thick stone. It was sealed away in the Black Mountains because it grew too strong to be controlled and could pose a serious threat to the Earth if let loose in the wrong hands. It serves a similar purpose to another, more famous legendary sword: Excalibur. After a scuffle with Vrak for its possession, the Wild Sword choses the Megaforce Rangers as their rightful owners and allows them to be the vessels of its power, allowing them to achieve their Ultra Mode and become much stronger, thereby enabling the Rangers to stand a far better chance in battle against their enemies from this point onwards. The sword is sentient, for it is empowered by the spirit of the dragon. Therefore one can only use its true power if it manages to earn its trust and prove its worthiness as a true warrior, something which only Troy managed to accomplish.

Past Rangers

Troy has been having a reoccurring dream where the current Power Rangers and Robo Knight are joined by the past Power Rangers in a fight against a common enemy congregated in great numbers, forming a massive armada.

Warstar Empire

The Warstar Empire is said to be the most widespread and powerful army in outer space, seeking to conquer all worlds and place them under its tyrannical control. Its leadership is held between classes of alien royalty and nobility, with the Warstar Admiral leading the Warstar Insectoid Army and the Warstar Prince commanding the Armada.

Warstar Insectoid Army

A group of insect-like space aliens who serve as the lead half of the Warstar Empire.

Admiral Malkor

Admiral Malkor is the luna moth-like, leader of the Insectoids whom sees both power and intelligence as useful in an insect invasion. He can use his signature moves, Planet Strike and Meteor Shower, as well as completely disintegrate objects, deflect or repel enemy fire with shockwaves and channel powerful lasers from his hands and wings. He wields a razor-sharp, moth-like axe as his weapon of choice during battle and as the occasional manner to release his wrath whenever he gets steamed. The Warstar Admiral is also capable to willingly enter a cocoon and undergo a metamorphosis-like state, doing so in order to further maximize his power. Among villains, Malkor is unique in that he treats his comrades with legitimate respect and equality. Along with Vrak, Admiral Malkor is the primary enemy of the Megaforce.

Admiral Malkor is voiced by Campbell Cooley.

Creepox

Creepox is a mantis-like warrior who is second-in-command of the Insectoids. He uses his sickles in executing attacks and tends to settle fights using the brute force approach. Due to this, he constantly argues with Vrak since the latter prefers to see through things with intellect. His signature move is Meteor Shot. Creepox proceeds to overpower the Power Rangers but finally falls when his defenses are breached. Although he wages a tough fight and outmatches the Megaforce in every way, Creepox is defeated by the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord. He would later be reminded by friend and foe alike.

Creepox is voiced by Mark Mitchinson.

Vrak

Vrak is initially a Prince in the Warstar Empire's Royal Family, and accompanies the Insectoids as their strategist. In battle, Vrak can alter his form where he wields a lance in his treehopper-like Insectoid guise and uses clawed gauntlets in his centipede-style, Toxic Mutant-like battle armor. He can call upon the Zombats to do monster enlargement. He later integrates himself into the Toxic Mutants and builds Metal Alice to lead his robot army. Incompetence has him stripped of his rank in the Royal Family in favor of his younger brother Vekar. From this point on, Vrak becomes obsessed with proving his value to the alien royalty he came from.

Vrak is voiced by Jason Hood.

Warstar Insectoid Monsters

  • Scaraba (voiced by Anthony Ray Parker): A scarab-like monster that is able to create large boulders to attack enemies. He is destroyed by the Power Rangers Rangers' Megaforce Blaster.
  • Yuffo (voiced by Joel Tobeck): A ladybug-like monster scientist who attempts to capture humans to conduct experiments on, with a design reminiscent of a UFO. His abilities include being able to trap people in a coccoon like substance and he can also split himself into five small UFOs to evade enemies. He is destroyed by the Gosei Great Megazord's Victory Charge.
  • Virox (voiced by Kevin Harty): A stinkbug-like monster that is able to sneeze out a virus that turns people into Loogies. He is destroyed by Sea Gosei Great Megazord's Sea Strike.
  • Dragonflay (voiced by Robert Mignault): A dragonfly-like monter who is able to run at great speeds and shoot lasers from his eyes. Destroyed by Land Gosei Great Megazord's Land Strike.
  • Beezara (voiced by Sarah Banasiak): A wasp-like monster who is a member of alien royalty like Vrak. Beezara has the ability of producing a fluid that turns males into unwilling servants. Her fluid also turned Gia and Emma against each other before the girls overcome her spell. Beezara is destroyed by Sky Gosei Great's Sky Strike.
  • Dizchord (voiced by Dean Young): A cricket-like monster that fancies himself as the best musician in the universe. He wants to use his music to destroy all of the humans on Earth and the sound is extremely painful to most people who hear it until Emma negates its effects with her own voice. He is destroyed by the Gosei Great Megazord's Victory Charge.

Toxic Mutants

The Toxic Mutants are a race of beings which were created by toxic waste and pollution that seeks to fit the Earth to their liking and aligns itself to the Warstar Insectoids as an ensurance to its plans.

Bigs

Bigs is a slimy Mutant who calls himself a slimeball when he is first introduced to the battlefield along with Bluefur and Hisser. He readily works alongside Vrak, becoming a general in the Warstar Empire. He uses a scepter-like cane to fight and can dissolve to evade being hit by weapons as well as turn into an amorphous state to evade being hit by or deflect any attacks. Bigs is thought to be finished after dissolving from an Ultra Strike attack but he instead retreats to the Aurora Box and lures the Power Rangers inside to absorb their powers. However, the Power Rangers' willpower ultimately proves to be his undoing and is destroyed by the Power Rangers in their Ultra Mode, sending the surviving Bluefur on a blind rage to avenge his now fallen comrade.

Bigs is voiced by Charlie McDermott.

Bluefur

Bluefur is a large ape-like Mutant with tarantula-like features who is physically the strongest among the Toxic Mutants. He enjoys destruction to an extreme level, and is uplifted by the very idea of bashing the Power Rangers and turning them into dust by stomping them. He wields a double-headed kanabo in battle and can use it with titanic force to pummel his opponents. He is a Warstar Mutant General. Bluefur joins Bigs in the final Mutant assault against the Power Rangers and deals with Robo Knight while the Rangers fight Bigs. Upon witnessing his best friend's death, Bluefur becomes enraged and overpowers the Gosei Grand Megazord until the Command Ship enters the stage and converts into the Gosei Ultimate Megazord, which destroys Bluefur after a fairly short but very intense struggle.

Bluefur is voiced by Jay Simon.

Toxic Monsters

  • Hisser (voiced by Estevez Gillespie): A snake/pill bug-like mutant who accompanies Bigs and Bluefur in their first fight with the Rangers. He can dig underground, spin extremely fast, and spew green slime that proves highly corrosive and poisoning. Hisser is destroyed by the Lion Mechazord. Distractor later creates an illusion of Hisser which became real when Vrak powered up Distractor. This time, Hisser is destroyed by the Rangers' Ultra Power Dynamic Strike.
  • Psychotick (voiced by Kelson Henderson): An energy-draining turtle/tick-like mutant that is summoned by Vrak. He has an appearance somewhat like that of a water fiend and can do a Tick Attack that can launch ticks at anyone. Psychotick is destroyed by the Gosei Grand Megazord. Distractor later creates an illusion of Psychotick which became real when Vrak powered up Distractor. This time, Psychotick is destroyed by the Rangers' Ultra Power Dynamic Strike.
  • Shadow Serpent (voiced by Adam Gardiner): A snail-shelled lake monster-like mutant. He wields two swords in battle, can shoot lasers from his finger, breathe fire and is able to steal shadows from other living beings or to attack with his tongue, rendering anything or anyone who loses a shadow to be rendered motionless due to having half of their essence lost.
  • Distractor (voiced by Scott Wills): An illusion-casting specter/spider-like mutant. He was enlisted by Vrak to cause a diversion on the Rangers so that he can steal the Wild Sword. One of Distractor's illusions involved him making illusions of past Toxic Mutants (consisting of Hisser, Psychotick, Gremlin, Mummy, Skyfish, and Kesaran) that were defeated by the Rangers.
  • Gremlin (voiced by Oscar Burt-Shearer): A gremlin/flea-like mutant. He later appeared as an illusion formed by Distractor to distract the Rangers and later took physical form thanks to the power that Vrak infused on Distractor with the Wild Sword. Gremlin is destroyed by the Rangers' Ultra Power Dynamic Strike. In "Raising Spirits," it is revealed that he has a cousin named Glytcher.
  • Mummy: A mummy/centipede-like mutant. He was created as an illusion and later given life by Distractor. Mummy is destroyed by the Rangers' Ultra Dynamic Strike attack.
  • Skyfish (voiced by Jeremy Birchall): A fish/mosquito-like mutant who has water-based skills. He was created as an illusion and later given life by Distractor as part of his army due to the power of the Wild Sword. Skyfish is destroyed by the Rangers' Ultra Power Dynamic Strike.
  • Kesaran: A cotton-covered leech-like mutant who was created as an illusion formed by Distractor and later given physical form by Distractor as a member of his ghost army. Kesaran is destroyed by the Rangers' Ultra Power Dynamic Strike.
  • Nojoke (voiced by Simon McKinney): A crow/scorpion-like mutant who has the ability to trap people inside gourds and turn them into a nourishing drink after they dissolve within them. He claims to do so simply because human laughter annoys him. Nojoke can also flap his wings to do beyond hurricane-force wind attacks and bind anyone with tickling rings. Destroyed by the Gosei Grand Megazord after being incapacitated by the Sea Gosei Great Megazord.
  • Dream Snatcher (voiced by Joseph Rye): A dream-eating, Spanish-accented, tapir/worm-like mutant that wields a fork and considers himself a matador. Being the test subject of the power of the Aurora Box (which can enhance a monster's skills 100 times fold) that belonged to Vrak's family, Dream Snatcher can eat the dreams of people that are awake, leaving them to grow Roots of Despair (where enough of them will be enough to rot the Earth) while trapping them in a dark dream world. He is destroyed by the Gosei Great Grand Megazord.
  • Glytcher (voiced by Oscar Burt-Shearer): A gremlin/flea-like mutant who is the cousin and almost identical counterpart of Gremlin. He can cause glitches in various electronics and has good leaping ability. He is also vulnerable to being tickled. After causing a brief power blackout on Halloween, he appears in the form of a hooded robed fortune teller in order to see the future of Troy, Noah, Gia, and Jake only to keep seeing the visions of the Power Rangers defeating past monsters (the Insectoids Virox, Dragonflay, Yuffo, and Creepox). He is destroyed by the Gosei Great Megazord and the Gosei Grand Megazord.

Metal Alice

Metal Alice is a very powerful feminine robot who Vrak creates as marshal of his robot army in his undersea laboratory. She openly considers humans as inferior beings. Her fighting prowess is such that she alone can hold her ground against the entirety of the Megaforce with little difficulty. She has the ability to repair her body or reattach her limbs if they are severed. Metal Alice has a mind of her own and acts under her own volition. She eventually develops feelings for Vrak and converts him into a cyborg to save his life. During the final battle with the Power Rangers, Metal Alice is critically wounded and when Vrak abandons her to self-destruct, she realizes he never cared for her at all.

Metal Alice is voiced by Sophie Henderson.

Metal Alice's robots

  • Rotox (voiced by Mark Wright): Rotox is a robotic scallop who is the first of Metal Alice's diabolical machinations. He is created before Vrak in order to demonstrate the power of the Metal Alice and her robots. He can emit lasers, roll up into his shell, emit chains, and combine junk into his shield which can also be tossed. Upon being born, he is immediately attacked by Metal Alice and manages to sever one of her legs, which reattaches to her body. Even Vrak is impressed by his strength, and correctly so, for he overpowers the Power Rangers until being defeated by the Ultra Strike. It is later revealed this monster is merely a test of strength for the Power Rangers.
    • Rotox DX (voiced by Mark Wright): A rebuilt and upgraded version of Rotox built by Metal Alice after gathering information about the last battle. He claims to be ten times stronger than his predecessor. This new counterpart has improved fighting skills and is much tougher to defeat than its previous incarnation where he managed to neutralize the Power Rangers Cannon's attack, emit a very strong laser, and pummel the Power Rangers even when they are in Ultra Mode. Rotox DX is nevertheless beaten by the Power Rangers and Robo Knight. Rotox DX is then enlarged by the Zombats and fights against the Gosei Grand and Gosei Ultimate Megazords. After working together to disarm Rotox DX of his claw and spear, Gosei Ultimate eventually finishes the fight with the Ultimate Strike.
    • Water Rotox: Three robotic clones of Rotox that were used for by Mteal Alice as part of her final invasion. It can withstand water without rusting.
  • Rico (voiced by Scott Wills): Robot 1-C-0 (short for R-C-1-0) is a mechanical starfish-like creation of Metal Alice with an unusual purpose. Unlike most of her machinations which are devoted exclusively to battle, Robot 1-C-0 (who was renamed Rico by Emma) was created to befriend the Power Rangers, for Metal Alice attempted to understand the concept of bonds such as friendship and if machines like herself could be capable of such, which was initially blanketed as a malfunction of Rico's circuits and wires.

Messenger

The Messenger is a robotic being that works as a special envoy to the Armada and acts as Warstar's advance scout. The Messenger boasts enough might to annihilate an entire landmass when releasing his strongest moves like emitting energy tornadoes from his chest and shoot lasers from his hands. He enters Metal Alice's lair in order to monitor Vrak's activities on Earth and report them to the Armada. He joins Vrak and Metal Alice and stands by their side to fight the Power Rangers after offering his assistance. His body is reinforced with a thick metallic armor that is resilient to any sort of attack. He follows a warrior code of loyalty and feels great honor to serve the Royal Family. In the final onslaught led by Metal Alice, he is left as nothing but a head and neck and advises Vrak to conceal himself to avoid being mistaken for an enemy by the Armada.

Messenger is voiced by Andrew Laing.

Warstar Foot Soldiers

Loogies

Loogies are the lime green-colored infantry of the Warstar Insectoid Army. Loogies attack on large swarms due to their weak individual fighting skills and are used as mindless grunts to root out weaklings. They wield daggers that double as blasters.

Zombats

Zombats are robotic one-eyed bat-like creatures used by Vrak in groups of six to make any sort of monster grow by swarming on their defeated bodies, though Admiral Malkor, Bluefur and Metal Alice can summon them as well. When used on Metal Alice's creatons, they are also referred to as "Zombolts" as they insert themselves into a robot to enlarge it. They may also enlarge certain objects, such as the Aurora Box.
