Deletion of an article about an official institution of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina
Mr/Mrs. "Jimfbleak",
On 15 December 2013 you deleted our article about the official higher music education institution of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina: Conservatorio Superior de Música de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires "Astor Piazzolla". You are urged to withdraw (i.e., undo) your action, since by no means the cited article contains the alleged "Unambiguous advertising or promotion". On the contrary, the mentioned text is similar to numerous previous articles contained in Misplaced Pages-—which were not yet deleted—-featuring similar Argentine institutions, such as: Conservatorio_Nacional_de_Música_(Argentina). Note, also, that further measures should be taken in order to ensure transparent and non discriminatory actions like the above described. Nelida Rocca Nelidarocca (talk) 14:19, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Comments added at User talk:Nelidarocca on this regard. For the record, I do believe the article was not a G11 and probably not even an A7 as the institution is notable, even though notability was not properly asserted in the article. In any case, the comments I left in her user page are regarding AGF and NLT on this matter, not the article itself, which would have to be re-written in a more encyclopaedic way. -- Alexf 18:10, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, Alexf, for your understanding and for noting the notability of the institution, as well as for your opinions stating that the "the article was not a G11 and probably not even an A7". The main problem with the article was that it was left as a stub and, when I tried to complete it today, I found out that it had been deleted under a wrong understanding of the real situation. Nelidarocca (talk) 19:34, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Not exactly -- as noted in your talk page (please let's continue the discussion there to keep it in one place), it was also a copyvio and would have been removed for that reason. As per the institution, I know the notability, but you have not shown it properly. For any article to stay (besides not being a copyvio of course) it must follow the Golden Rule. This one did not. If you are working on creating a new article which is not yet ready, please do not do it in mainspace as you did. That publishes it publicly and makes it immediately subject for deletion if warranted. Instead, work on it in a subpage or sandbox then publish, or better yet, request a review at Articles for Creation to avoid these issues. -- Alexf 19:49, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
Where to quote and answer what you wrote on my talk page?
I replied to you answer, in bold text between brackets, on my talk page. Be sure to check it and let me/us know accordingly. Nelidarocca (talk) 16:21, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
Surendra Singh Nagar
Hello Jim. I was about to write a page about notable Indian Politician Surendra Singh Nagar and noticed that this page was earlier deleted by you (in 2009). Guillermo Maldonado (pastor)
Why did you delete the article for Guillermo Maldonado (pastor). At first I copy pasted from website which resulted in being flagged for copyright. But then I deleted everything and wrote it all in my own words. I spent 4 hours on that article. Please put it back. Reread it so you can see. Please!!!!!!! so many hours put into that article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cristian325 (talk • contribs) 17:43, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
Hello Mr. Jimfbleak. I looked on Misplaced Pages for the writing styles of the article. I removed everything that you told me and I wrote the article from a neutral point of view as you requested. Can you please verify to see if everything is in order. The article name is Guillermo Maldonado (Reverend).----cristian325
Hello Mr. Jimfbleak. I did all the changes as you instructed. I also moved the page to Guillermo Maldonado (pastor) as per your request. Stuntface (punk band)
Hi, This concerns Stuntface (punk band) it seems you have a thing about deleting stuff. I want to put a Wiki page about a band I know very well. What do I need to make it 'legit' in your 'opinion' ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by StuntfaceFounder (talk • contribs) 18:23, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello Jimfbleak, I notice you deleted this page due to advertising, which it clearly did in places. However, the subject is notable enough for his own article per the WP:GNG, which I plan to create minus the advertising and promotion of course. I just wanted to ask if you could userfy the deleted copy to User: STATicVapor/sandbox4 so I may work on it. I would appropriate it. I will trim any promotional content from it immediately. STATic message me! 01:15, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi JIm, it has been some time since I've worked on the article for "Perfect Vodka" but I recently began editing it again and wanted to see if you could give it a look. It's still located on my user:tara dodson/sandbox page where you suggested I write it first before attempting to submit it again. Thanks for all your help! oneSafe Password Maanger
Why was the page for oneSafe Password Manager deleted? I can resubmit a new version with less "promotional" stuff. Most of oneSafe competitors are on Misplaced Pages, some being less renowned on iOS, and have rather promotional wording (e.g. Lastpass and 1Password). Could you please confirm I can resubmit a new version? Tom951Tom951 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:30, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Perfect Hideaways
I see you deleted Misplaced Pages:Perfect Hideaways My attention had been drawn to this at the help desk, and I was in the process of removing the promotional content and attempting to source the article to determine if the subject is actually notable. Would you object if I restored and userfied the content to work on? (as I don't want to wheel-war, I won't restore without discussing with you first.) DES 19:46, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello
Hi, can you please respond to the creator of the page Alhaj Danesh Ahmed Chowdhury he is just removing tags and others edits without improving his page. I've warned him many time but he didn't seem to get it. Thanks Nechlison (talk) 17:55, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Username
Hello,
I accidentally created a username thinking it was the form to enter my Misplaced Pages page title. It was the name of a company, so I got banned. I was trying to create my own username - not one for the company. Can you please help me un-ban the page I was trying to create? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Va201301 (talk • contribs) 19:03, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response. My username was Home Gallery Stores, but I did not want that to be my username. I just wanted that to be the page title. I am new to posting on Misplaced Pages and am learning how to post to the bottom of the page - I apologize if I do not do this correctly. Va201301 (talk) 19:17, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response. I was not planning on posting that information (hence why it was only one sentence.) I actually copied and pasted the information from the source, and just saved the page to see if it worked. I also saved the page so I could find a "history" categories to enter more information. I did not know that the "save" button automatically published the article. I was planning on writing an unbiased article, and was not planning on using adjectives like "leading." I was planning on writing about the history and background. Is it possible to get the original title back? Va201301 (talk) 19:33, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
