Rongo Brightwell (born September 16, 1987 in Mohaka, New Zealand) is a singer who rose to popularity after placing sixth in NZ Idol 2, the New Zealander version of Pop Idol. Rongo is part of the Ngati Pahauwera from eastern New Zealand.
