Hyde bus station in Hyde, Greater Manchester serves as a bus terminus for 11 bus services and as a major stop for 4 bus services in the Greater Manchester area. It was opened in 2004 and was built on the site of the old bus station for Hyde. The station is managed by Transport for Greater Manchester. It is situated to in Hyde town center and to the east of Hyde Central railway station.
To the north side of the wall of the bus station, the M67 motorway travels past.
History
In 2003 the new bus station was built by Sisk building contractors for £3.7 million.
Services
There are several services that use Hyde Bus Station. The majority of services are run by Stagecoach Manchester with the remainder of services run by Checkmate Transport, First Greater Manchester, JPT and Stotts.
There are frequent buses running to Ashton-under-Lyne, Belle Vue, Denton, Dukinfield, Godley, Hattersley, Manchester and Stockport. Buses also run to Glossop, Marple, Mottram, Oldham and Stalybridge.
The bus services that use Hyde Bus Station are 201, 202, 204, 206, 207, 304, 330, 341, 342, 343, 344, 346, 387, 389.
