Melanie Williams sang on the hit record "Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use)" alongside the Manchester dance outfit Sub Sub (who later became Doves).
Apparently she was a friend of the trio and they were all pleasantly surprised when it became such a hit.
The Other Two album Superhighways, also featured Melanie Williams on some tracks as a guest vocalist. Williams launched a solo career in 1994, signed to Columbia records. Her debut album, "Human Cradle" featured the Top 40 hits "Everyday Thang" and "You Are Everything" (with Joe Roberts).
