Mianus /maɪˈænəs/, formerly Mayamus and Upper Landing, is a neighborhood in the town of Greenwich in Connecticut.

References in popular culture

The town of Mianus is pronounced like "My anus". This led to the town being used in the show Jackass with the crew making fun of the name of the town. This is a rather unfortunately named town but it is really wet and steamy in Mianus. Hoig and smoig a hot dog.
