Revision as of 12:27, 29 June 2006 by MSTCrow (talk | contribs)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)Welcome to my current sovereign talk page. Please do not edit or delete other people's posts. Disruptive or vandalistic posts will be removed. All posts left in good faith will remain as a matter of record.
I wrote "Since the rule is to assume good faith, you should not be removing any posts at all", and you deleted it. On what basis did you judge that not to be in good faith? Its removal is clearly contrary to your statement above. -- Jibal 12:05, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- It rather quite stupidly ignores the reality that many posts on talk pages are often of an openly hostile and vindinctive nature, and I didn't think you were serious. I suppose you're just new, and have not had to deal with waves of userspace vandalism and trolling yet.

- You're quite the gentleman; I didn't do anything "quite stupidly". -- Jibal 12:10, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

- I'm a veteran editor on Misplaced Pages and I'm tired and frustrated with newbie naivete. Misplaced Pages is frequently a battleground of squabbling children, not a collaborative effort to accomplish anything of true worth. As you might expect, me being a veteran, I've seen far too much to be anything but a disillusioned realist. I quote from Wikitruth: 'WP:AGF - an acronym for "assume good faith" a meaningless phrase used primarily to allow vandals to continue editing. Why Misplaced Pages is doomed to failure. Often used by someone who's acting like a fuckhead to mean "I know I'm acting like a fuckhead; you know I'm acting like a fuckhead; but the rules say you have to pretend I'm acting like a decent human being so bite me, motherfucker!"' So it's not you I'm pissed off at, so much as those who have limited Misplaced Pages's potential far below what it could be, by simply being themselves.

- Well, after your deletion of an entire article about the evolution of pepper moths, replacing it with falsehoods about the NYT "breaking the news" (in a book review) of a "hoax" (which never occurred and the NYT didn't claim occurred), perhaps what you've seen too much of is your own work and you simply being you. -- Jibal 12:21, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

- Maybe you should go bother reading the actual sources, notice that was not the only source (there are books available), and stop being a smug nub. Having a high IQ doesn't mean there aren't a ton of ignorant, intellectually lazy people out there. So you see, I was right to remove your first post in the first place, as so far you look like a troll who has only succeeded in polluting my newly minted talk page with a mini-flamewar of your own creation. If you post anything else at all here, your post will be deleted. If you continue to instigate, you will be referred to an admin and either put on probation, as you're new, or blocked.
