Kiyomi McCloskey mainly famous for her lead singing and guitar playing in Hunter Valentine, a successful rock band formed in 2004 in Toronto alongside drummer Laura Petracca, and rhythm guitarist Leanne Bowes and base player Aimee Bessada they have released three albums and toured over 200+ events.
Kiyomi McCloskey then starred in The Real L Word in 2010 (a follow up reality series from The L Word which first aired on Logo TV in 2004 then ending in 2009. She starred alongside stud Whitney Mixter, Sara Bettencourt & Lauren Russel.
2011 Hunter Valentine toured alongside Sick of Sarah and Vanity Theft in what named labelled "Lady Killer Tour" one of the most famous tours Hunter Valentine ever did because of the trio that were announced.
In 2012 Kiyomi McCloskey did an guest acting role in Girl/Girl Scene with Laura Petracca and band member at the time Adrian Lloyd, written by Tucky William who also plays a lead character called "Evan" it soon became a popular web series even being nominated for Best Web Series on After Ellen's Visibility Awards.
Not long after, 2013 in fact, Kiyomi McCloskey took part in a lead role as "Hector" in a short film called Hector: Lost Souls with Switchblades which is a Modern day Hooligans who style themselves as a Retro 50's gang bully a Loner who shows up at their bar. Pompadours, vintage cars, tattoos and booze surround the switchblade toting hoodlum, the sexy risk taking girl he wants and the mysterious gender bending stranger named Hector, as they battle over love and territory.
