I'm a Brit, and my main interest is birds, although I'll dabble in almost anything I come across.

Given that there are 9,000 species of birds, I'm concentrating on those I have actually seen.

All the articles for the birds on the British list are written, along with those I have seen (and some close relatives) in France; Spain; Portugal; Cyprus; India; Canada; Florida, USA; The Gambia; Sri Lanka and Trinidad and Tobago. My current project is to write up some of the Costa Rican species.
