Information icon Hello, I'm McGeddon. Your recent edit to the page Hot Fuzz appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 17:38, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
And logging out or not logging in to edit does still count Murry1975 (talk) 16:51, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Misplaced Pages account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/WARNER one, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Misplaced Pages administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Misplaced Pages policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Misplaced Pages community.

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Misplaced Pages's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address by one person. If this was not your intention, then please always remember to log in when editing. Thank you. King of 18:38, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Syncopy films

You're claiming their website has a list of films. As best as I know, the studio has no readily available web presence. This site which looks official and include Memento on the list is actually a fan blog per (and I can't see any profession studio using tumlbr as their post). The only other page is a facebook page which points to which has no film listing and itself only points back to facebook. --MASEM (t) 13:48, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Also note that the BFI site, while reliable, automatically sorts production country by alphabetical order (Great Britian will always be before US), eg it classifies the Muppet Movie which is clearly US-UK the other way around. . So it can't be used for ascribing the order of country of film production. --MASEM (t) 15:57, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I saw that you have been making country-related changes in film articles. Please be aware that such changes can be contentious and that you are not the first editor to embark on a series of such edits. It can be a gray area, and reliable sources can contradict on the matter. I strongly recommend that you make more substantial edits to film articles, as they are more likely to stand the test of time. Thanks, Erik (talk | contrib) 19:28, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

Reverting other editors

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Alien (film). Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Misplaced Pages this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Misplaced Pages is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you.--McGeddon (talk) 17:32, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

I think the Alien (film) issue is resolved for now, no? Apologies for my part in that. We should have moved that to the Talk page. HullIntegrity (talk) 03:22, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

LIFE OF PI

The vast majority of sources only identifies the United States, and none of the other countries are mentioned. According to the Template:Infobox film, it explicitly states: " If there is a conflict of information in various reliable sources, then list only the common published nations." Can you argue the other four countries are published in many sources (common published)?--Taderuer (talk) 21:33, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
