Report active, obvious, and persistent vandals and spammers here. Shortcut

Before reporting, read the spam and vandalism pages, as well as the AIV guide. To submit, edit this page and follow the instructions at the top of the "User-reported" section. For other issues, file a request for administrator attention.

    Important!
    1. The edits of the user must be obvious vandalism or obvious spam.
    2. Except for egregious cases, the user must have been given enough warning(s).
    3. The warning(s) must have been given recently and there must be reasonable grounds to believe the user(s) will further disrupt the site in the immediate future.
    4. If you decide that a report should be filed place the following template at the bottom of the User-reported section:
      • * {{Vandal|Example user or IP}} Your concise reason (e.g. vandalised past 4th warning). ~~~~
    5. Requests for further sanctions against a blocked user (e.g., talk page, e-mail blocks) should be made at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
    6. Reports of sockpuppetry should be made at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations unless the connection between the accounts is obvious and disruption is recent and ongoing.
This noticeboard can grow and become backlogged. Stale reports are automatically cleared by MDanielsBot after 4–8 hours with no action.

Question: Sort of hard to tell what's genuinely wrong. Can you post a diff of a post-final warning disruptive edit? Daniel Case (talk) 14:34, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Edits are not vandalism. Please ensure recent edits constitute vandalism before re-reporting. This seems like an effectively new user who may not understand how we do things yet. And, he hasn't edited for five hours as of this writing. Daniel Case (talk) 14:44, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Note: The page has been deleted, perhaps we can wait and see if the user continues to be disruptive. Perhaps they will take head of out auto-biography rules. Any further attempts to promote themselves should result in a block though. Chillum 17:48, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Stale warning. Last warning was issued 5 days ago. This IP has not been warned since the 24th, it may not even be the same person. These may be test edits. Chillum 17:29, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Warned user. I have given the user a level 1 test warning and will keep the talk page on my watchlist. Chillum 17:38, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
@Chillum: May not even be the same person? If not then it's someone else who by a remarkable chance edits the same articles from the same IP address and makes very similar edits. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 17:59, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Granted it is likely the same person. However it is only a couple edits over 5 days, I don't see a block as preventative at this point. I will however consider this user fully warned if they resume in the near future.
I have absolutely no objection if another admin wants to handle this differently. Chillum 18:02, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
