Majik Ninja Entertainment is the new record label started by former Psychopathic Records' artists Twiztid. The label first started in 2014 with friend and also former Psychopathic artist, Blaze Ya Dead Homie siging to the label, with it being announced in February 2014 at a Dead Days Convention.
History
Establishment (2014 - present)
Twiztid released 3 album independently (A New Nightmare EP, 4 Tha Fam Vol. 2 mixxtape and Get Twiztid EP). In early/mid 2013 Twiztid stated that they are establishing and getting their record label started, and working out the remaining legal kinks. They would mention and talk about the label becoming one step closer almost 2-3 times a week. In February 2014 during a Dead Days Convention Seminar Twiztid did a seminar with Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and it was announced that he is signed to Twiztid's new label. In mid 2014 Twiztid announced that Blaze Ya Dead Homie would be releasing 2 albums in 2014 on Twiztid's new label if there were no set backs. A short time later it was announced that Blaze had aquired the rights to his Gang Rags: Extended Version (Uncut & Uncencored) album, and would strip away the beats, and release it the way it was intended to sound. In August 2014 it was announced that Blaze Ya Dead Homie would be releasing his debut album on Twiztid's new label and it would be the first to be released on the label, and it would be titled: Gang Rags: Reborn and will be released on October 21, 2014. On Saturday morning September 12, 2014 INgrooves released it's "New Release Packet" for the month of October it was announced that Twiztid's new label will be called "Majik Ninja Entertainment" and Blaze Ya Dead Homie's album's catalog number will be "MNE001". People have been arguing over if Twiztid's new label is called "Majik Ninja Records" or "Majik Ninja Entertainment" because in the "New Release Packet", it says that the new label will be called "Majik Ninja Records", but on the catalog number for Blaze's new album it says the label will be called "Majik Ninja Entertainment". Twiztid will release the follow up full length album to their 2013 EP A New Nightmare titled The Darkness in the winter of 2014. They will release their long awaited album The Darkness in early 2015. Twiztid is waiting to announce the roster for the label, but speculations are considering: The R.O.C., Zodiac MPrint, Samhein Witch Killaz, House of Krazees, The Dayton Family, Aqualeo, Kung Fu Vampire and Kottonmouth Kings. In late September 2014 Twiztid did an interview with 411 and they stated that an album will be out in 2014 and The Darkness will be out on January 20 or 27, 2015. On October 6, 2014 it was announced that The Darkness will be released on January 27, 2015.
Composed of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child are the two founding members of Majik Ninja Entertainment. Before creating Majik Ninja Entertainment Spaniolo and Methric began their music careers in 1993 as fouding members of House of Krazees with The R.O.C. until they left in 1996. They would sign to Psychopathic Records in 1997 on the strength of a 3 song demo, and would stay on the label until December 12, 2012. They would release a few albums independently, before creating their own label in 2014. Their first release on the label will be The Darkness in early 2015.
Blaze began his music career in 1996, and almost gave up after joining many groups and going nowhere. He was encouraged by longtime friends Twiztid to keep trying, and give Psychopathic Records a try. In 1998 he was given a chance and was signed to the label. He was featured on Twiztid's debut album on Psychopathic. He would join Psychopathic Rydas and be featured on that album too, before releasing his debut album on the label Blaze Ya Dead Homie EP in 2000. He released 8 album in total on the album from 1998 - 2013. Blaze left Psychopathic in late 2012/early 2013. He would release one album independently titled Let It Burn EP on the Drive-By Tour 2013 in February 2013 on Grundy Entertainment. It was announced at a Dead Days Convention Seminar with Twiztid that he had signed to their new label. It was announced in May 2014 that he would be releasing 2 albums in 2014 if there were no set backs. It was announced in August 2014 that Blaze will release Gang Rags: Reborn on October 21, 2014 on Majik Ninja Entertainment and will be the first release on the label.
