Speedy deletion nomination of Muninmax

Dear Mr. Karlhard, If I want to put my article about our company, how can I do it? Please let me know. Many thanks in advance.Phan Nguyen Hoang Anh (talk) 03:50, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

Before you add an article, please make sure to meet the notability guidelines. It's a must to be covered in a 3rd website, non-trivial. You article also does not have any references (find help here) and can't be self-published source (such as own blog, or paid press release). Your article also sounds as a promotion. In case your article gets deleted, it's located here. Karlhard (talk) 04:07, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

Fogalord Deletion

Mr. Karlhard, In regards to Fogalord's speedy deletion: first, thank you for the work you do on Misplaced Pages. I fully understand the value of volunteers to the site and how, without you, Misplaced Pages would become trashed with worthless information and biased reporting. However, I looked at a few comparable bands to Fogalord and didn't see a clear statement of their importance. I did mention that they had guest performances from some notable bands that are on Misplaced Pages (Ancient Bards and Rhapsody) - should I have mentioned reviews of A Legend to Believe In? A Legend to Believe in was reviewed by dozens of venues and received an average score of 8/10 from critics. What about interviews? They've also been interviewed by a number of prominent members of the Italian media. I am not associated with Fogalord. I enjoy their music and thought it deserved recognition, but I guess I didn't see much more indication of importance on comparable bands' pages. Thanks again for your work. I'll check back here shortly for your reply. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FSEnterprises (talkcontribs) 08:23, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Vlad the Impaler, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 13:03, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Cash L3wis

The article Cash L3wis has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:25, 18 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks Beeblebrox! I will start working on it. Karlhard 01:41, 18 October 2014 (UTC)

Relisting the debate

Hi. I see you relisted this AfD for further debate. It's generally a good idea to leave things like that to disinterested third parties. You clearly have a strong opinion in this matter, so relisting (or closing) the debate is not appropriate. In this case, relisting was a reasonable thing to do (and, in fact, I'm about to relist it for another week), but you should have let somebody else who was not involved in the debate come along and make that decision. Thanks. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:12, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Elijah Blake

Hello Karlhard,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Elijah Blake for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. --I am Kethrus 22:14, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

David Gravell ‎and Elijah Blake

Hello Karlhard, I have removed the speedy deletion tag you added to David Gravell, because he has signed to a notable label, and as such he may meet WP:NMUSIC. If you feel the subject is truly not notable, I have no problems with taking it to Articles for Deletion. I also removed the speedy nomination for an article you created, Elijah Blake, for the same reasons. There is enough claim to notability it should be reviewed at AfD, at the very least. Thanks! 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 23:47, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 6

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Elijah Blake, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Usher. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Early Wright (Disc jockey)

Could you point me to the notability standard that you used for marking the Early Wright (Disc jockey) article for speedy deletion? Rbcwa (talk) 02:52, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi Rbcwa, sure. I currently don't find any reference that support this article; however, I would be happy to help you further if needed. Karlhard (talk) 02:53, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
Try page 93, of "Blues Traveling, The Holy Sites of Delta Blues" by Steve Cheseborough, ISBN 978-1-60473-124-8. I didn't have time to put it up as a reference yet... Rbcwa (talk) 03:00, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
My apologizes for the mistake. I have removed speedy tag by myself and reviewed the article. Thanks; and sorry. Karlhard (talk) 03:02, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
No worries. I added the reference as well. Rbcwa (talk) 03:21, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Unchain the Wolves

Hello Karlhard. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Unchain the Wolves, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Band does exist, A9 is not applicable. Might fail WP:NALBUMS for PROD or AFD. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrog 07:02, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of Venmurasu

Hi- I've been working on the page for 'Venmurasu' and it seems to have been marked by you for deletion. I have added material and links and removed the tag. Please let me know if it's ok - thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Madhusam (talkcontribs) 07:26, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi - thanks for deleting German Expats in Brazil - I made a mistake - wanted to create the category, but of course it already exists. Ach8 (talk) 13:54, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Stardust Reverie

Hi my friend. This is Victor Banner, I created the Stardust Reverie article that you deleted. Well, I made my best to do it right and I count with all the permissions of the Stardust Reverie Project because I am a member of the band. I can proove it , you only have to check www.StardustReverieProject.com and if you click in THE BAND you will see me there with the rest of the musicians.

So my info was totally OK legally. I ignore if you have any other reasons...

Please my friend let me know!

Thx

All the best!

AfC & NPP

Hi. We appreciate your enthusiasm but you are not ready yet to be reviewing submissions at Articles for Creation. Also, before patrolling any more new articles, please read and thoroughly digest WP:NPP and WP:DELETION. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me. Thanks. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:39, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi Kudpung กุดผึ้ง, How I am not ready yet to review submissions? I have a large number of editing and more than 2 months contributing on Misplaced Pages. I have read WP:NPP and WP:DELETION. What difference do I have in front of other contributors? What's your point and why I do not quality or ready yet to review them. Thanks for your message. Karlhard 18:50, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Hi Karlhard. You are not ready to review submissions because your account has to be 90 days old, and you also have to have 500 edits to the mainspace, not just in total. According to this tool, you have only 249 mainspace edits, and your account has only been registered for roughly a month and a half (45 days). With this said, I disagree with most arbitrary limitations, because I'm of the belief that if you have proven that you are good at something, you should be allowed to do it. Of course, that's just my opinion, and I don't have to authority to supersede the rules.
Don't be discouraged, though. There's a lot of other areas that need help, such as the ones listed on the Community portal. Best wishes, and happy editing! --Biblioworm 18:02, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
Like Biblioworm says, you might actually be already quite good at something, but the bigger issue is that you don't appear able to read instructions and that's very important on Misplaced Pages. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 19:57, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:David Banks at Awards.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:David Banks at Awards.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for November 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Forex Heatmap, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arlington. Daniel Abraham (record producer)

Speedy deletion nomination of LiveSport24

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on LiveSport24, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Misplaced Pages:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --Richard Yin (talk) 21:12, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Urban Artist Soap

The article Urban Artist Soap has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Misplaced Pages:General notability guideline and the more detailed Misplaced Pages:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
