In January 2015, a shooting took place at the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo. Early reports suggested that Eleven people were killed and four seriously injured. The assault happened late in the morning local time, when masked gunmen entered the building, and began shooting with automatic weapons - reports speak of up to 50 shots being fired.
