Thank you for helping straighten out List of Indian spices. We are very grateful! Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:31, 12 January 2015 (UTC) |
- @Anna Frodesiak: thank you indeed! I spent some time on it and realized there are so many languages in active use in one nation! And I could read some of them and recognize almost most of them! It was a surprise! Without your helpful persuasion I could not have done it. . --AmritasyaPutra 14:36, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks
Dear AmritasyaPutra, thanks for you kind message. You are right, even though I found it very difficult to remain calm when EVERYONE is against me and I am not being treated fairly, not even by administrators.
These people are now voting here to block me: https://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents
I am not sure how I should respond and what else I can do. These people have neither reason nor logic but are filled with hatred. Maybe that's just the way it is supposed to be, wikipedia in the hands of haters. In that case, I will continue to defend my stance and opinion in other websites. Thank God we still have freedom of speech on the rest of the internet. Enigmafay (talk) 16:03, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Enigmafay: I feel you are just a new user who doesn't know his way around this community yet. It would be good you don't take these too personally and seriously. Just text with no face and voice becomes even more hurtful at times. Why don't you simply express to the community that you will refrain from editing that article and stick to discussion, and understand in earnestness that many times your edits will not be retained. Right? Its a simple, easy choice in a way, this is just an online community, and you are required to abide by its policies. Thank you. --AmritasyaPutra 16:25, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Enigmafay: I may also add that you do not have to view this voluntary withdrawal as a defeat. Very few (hardly any in fact) can take such a step and abide by it. You would know it from your own life experiences too. It takes a lions' heart to make a choice that seems to crush one's initial instinct to prove oneself superior (ego). Trust me, ignore the article -- Step back and look, what is the worst effect it can have, or the best? You want to spoil a calm mind for it? Instead just walk away, that requires more strength at this point, isn't it? --AmritasyaPutra 17:33, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
- Dear AmritasyaPutra, I don't have the time to invest in learning the technicalities of wikipedia. I have not edited the article since more than 7 days and I am constantly writing on the talkpage, but nobody is listening. Instead, now these editors are coming forth with insults on Swami Satyananda and are applauding each other for the aggressive language they use. We have a duty to the truth and I will not compromise my right to defend it. Enigmafay (talk) 18:19, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
