Tips for finding a source yourself

• Request the author(s) of research papers for a copy of their paper by email
• Check on Google Books, or your local library may be able to obtain it through an interlibrary loan
• Search Google Scholar for archived copies of journals in institutional repositories

Requesting as many reference sources relating to Est, Werner Erhard, and Landmark Education from as many databanks as I can get

One of the outcomes of a recent arbitration case was to try to involve more editors in the articles relating to Est and its successor entities, specifically including Landmark Worldwide. I think one of the best indicators of what sort of content our articles should have would be what other existing reference sources, of any kind, say about the topic. It does broadly fall within the general areas of social movements/sociology, psychology, new religious movements, self-help, and other fields, and any material from the databanks, specifically roughly "encyclopedic" articles relating to any of the topics involved would be more than welcome. Specific titles for such topics which come to mind include Erhard Seminars Training or est, Werner Erhard, Landmark Education/Landmark Worldwide, Landmark Forum, the Human potential movement, and Large group awareness training. The key articles of immediate focus are Werner Erhard, Landmark Education, Werner Erhard and Associates and the other articles in that basic subject area. Ideally, any content specifically of a reference overview type, encyclopedic or otherwise, which deals as closely with Landmark in its various iterations as possible, or which gives it substantial discussion in reference overviews dealing with related topics would be best, as it would help in determining relative balance and WEIGHT on the topic of Erhard's programs in the main article, which is probably the primary concern here. @John Carter: Aside from a handful of articles that Asyntax has already posted on the talk page of Landmark Worldwide, I could not find much that goes into detail about Landmark Education. There are plenty of articles on the subject of est which primarily covers pre-Landmark era, but I assume that is not what you’re after. I've emailed you an entry for Erhard Seminars Training from Contemporary American Religion, which mentions that "In 1984 est was transformed into The Forum, and in 1991 it became Landmark Education Corporation." Need help finding sources talking about a Malaysian expressway

I'm currently working on North–South Expressway Northern Route, but online secondary sources have been a pain to find. A web search turned up nothing reliable, while a Google Books and Google Scholar search resulted in only one minor publication by the World Bank, which I could only use for one sentence. Searches of local news websites resulted in only accidents and incidents that occurred, which aren't notable. I'm pretty much hanging on the hope that there is a paper source (or some online work that I haven't been able to find) going into detail about the expressway, especially its history. Source to create an article on Black Creek (Susquehanna River)

I discovered this (a 1968 USGS open-file report by Thomas Gwyn Newport, Harry E. Koester, Marion Joseph Bergin; the title is "Geology, hydrology, and geochemistry of the Black Creek watershed near Mocanaqua, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania"), which seems like a very useful source for an article on Black Creek. The trouble is that the USGS doesn't have it online, Worldcat says that there are no libraries that have the report, and on amazon.com, it says that "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." Anyone have access to the "Bodleian Library Record"?

I'm after the following:

• H. W. Shaw, ‘The Oxford University chair of music, 1627–1947, with some account of Oxford degrees in music from 1856’, Bodleian Library Record, 16 (1997–9), 233–70 ISSN:0067-9488

with a view to creating a featured list of Heather Professor of Music (currently a redlink, but I have 8 FLs of Oxford chairs or similar under my belt already, and have started work on a userspace draft already). I don't expect this is relevant to the request, but I'm only interested in the Barrington Plaza/Louis Lesser/Ben Deane elements. I can access small portions of it via the Google preview, enough to indicate that this is likely the best source on the Barrington Plaza development out there. Something's not right. It was google-digitized last year and is available in snippet view at there, also on HathiTrust at 009990122 and 006215744. I suspect it was incorrectly flagged by the digitizer as being under copyright, though of course it should be PD-USGov. Perhaps someone in a US university environment can access the HathiTrust fulltext record? Well, Amazon would apparently sell you one, it's probably still in print. As usual, their prices vary wildly depending which country you're in. EBSCOhost link -- Yuccas: 'Ghosts in the Graveyard'

I would appreciate a little help from an editor with fulltext access to this newspaper article. I am trying to source an uncited claim I found in the Yucca lead paragraph: "It is also colloquially known in the lower Midwest United States as "ghosts in the graveyard", as it is commonly found growing in rural graveyards and when in bloom the cluster of (usually pale) flowers on a thin stalk appear as floating apparitions." So far this is the only seemingly reliable source I have found for the colloquialism that is not an echo of Misplaced Pages. Does the above source support both claims (nickname and reason for nickname) in that sentence and is this newspaper/article/author considered a WP:RS ? Thanks NQ. It is tenuous to claim the entire "lower Midwest" region from that citation but the paper is *in* the Midwest (Texas) so the claim is technically correct. There is no way to say yay or nay that the colloquialism is used anywhere but where the author heard it. I will update the article with your provided citation. Recalling this incident in an interview with this author in July 1956,Toda admitted hitting the priest "twice" and said that this was the cause of the extremely unfavorable press his organization then received-which labeled Soka Gakkai as a "violent religion".............In a pamphlet issued in May 1955, Ogasawara similarly "repented" his "indiscretion in having had the unfortunate conflict with Soka gakkai." Ikeda, who led the four thousand young men to mob Ogasawara, says now that the incident was an act of kindness because the old priest, made to realize his apostasy, was grateful to Toda and Soka gakkai and died a happy man.

- The quote is found in the hebrew version of Gluska's The Israeli Military and the Origins of the 1967 War, p. 235. My translation is: "Nasser canceled at the last minute a planned Egyptian attack, and later accused the soviets: "you stopped us and have not allowed us to be the first to attack. You have not let us having the initiative. That was a collusion."
