RfA Thanks!
Okay, this is perhaps a bit overdue, but thank-you for your support in my recent RfA! I passed with a finalDID NOT VANDALIZE
I don't know why you sent me a link to the burger king wikipedia after you claimed that I vandalized it. Get your stuff together man, I never vandalized anything.
Well, since you are a new user, I am pretty sure as that username you didn't. However, what you did when you was an IP can warrant more investigations. Olorin28 23:16, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Mediation
The Mediation Cabal needs your support. You are listed as an active mediator ready to accept assignments. If you don't want to take the case on, just say so at the bottom of the request and delegate it to someone else. --Fasten 10:32, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Alpha Phi Alpha
The article Alpha Phi Alpha does need assitance again for mediation. User Bobbydoop has once appeared and summarily reverted to a version about 2 months old. This is irresponsible and violates many of the changes that the former CABAL mediator said should not appear. Can you help? Ccson 23:44, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
I have requested peer review of this article because I intend to request Feature Article status and have made numerous changes regarding feedback from administrators and contributors. Once again, boobydoop and mikeandike have reverted the article to a version several months old. these users are not logging in but sockpuppeting to revert. Administartor Sceptre has reverted the first revert, yet, they summarily ignored his reversion to my last edit with one several months old, summarily wiping out all of my work. Can you get them out of the way? Ccson 15:05, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Genghis Khan
I appreciate your comments on the talk page, especially as I felt I was starting to lose my ability to retain any civility with the other contributor (2 AM, being accused of "making shit up", etc.). I hope you will continue to help on the article, as I think it's a topic that demands a featured article to go with it and has never had one. siafu 04:19, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Kulan/Khulan
I didn't notice that what User:Onetwo1 did was not to write the Khulan article himself but just copy and paste moved the Kulan article over to Khulan. That's not how it should be done, and I'm pondering if I should just delete the Khulan article and then either do a proper move (which will preserve your edits in the history as they should) or just let the article stay at Kula and make it redirect the other way (and make those trivial edits I did on Khulan again). What do you think? Shanes 03:05, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, fine with me. I did the reversing now. Shanes 03:36, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Note that there are other responses and templates for additions of POV material to articles. Simply calling it nonsenses does not assume good faith and seems to run into WP:BITE issues as well. JoshuaZ 03:00, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Userpage
You seem to have attracted a fan. I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of updating the number of times your userpage has been vandalized. siafu 01:14, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
lol no problem. I am a vandal magnet. ;p Olorin28 01:24, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article Cedric Griffin, which you recently created, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page. |

Welcome to the Military history WikiProject!
Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Misplaced Pages's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
- The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines outline some things to include.
- Interested in working on a more complete article? The military history peer review and collaboration departments would welcome your help!
- Interested in a particular area of military history? We have a number of task forces that focus on specific nations or periods.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every military history article in Misplaced Pages.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Kirill Lokshin 15:50, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
hill tribes
Hill tribes are Chinese modern national minorities, but they do not have the right to rise in the Communist party to any level above leading their reservation or autonomos region and they are forbidden to serve in the military. Just some example of being fully a Chinese citizen, when your ancestors are hill tribesmen. And please remember, they do have a history and tradition of their own. Not all hill tribes live in China, like the Shan and others, that left their ancient territory long ago and moved away from the Empire.
Chinese military history task force
Hello. I am approaching you with this message because you have contributed to some aspect of Chinese military history on Misplaced Pages and/or have put your name on WikiProject Military history's member list and indicated your expertise in some field of Chinese military history.
Here's the deal. We need a place to coordinate work on Chinese military history. Therefore, I am proposing to start a task force for this purpose. But before we can go ahead with it, I need to make sure that there is enough contributors to sustain this effort. The China-related topics notice board died of neglect and if we create this task force we need to be committed to it or it will suffer the same fate. I'm asking for your opinions on this matter, whether it's a good idea or not, if you'd be interested in it, and what suggestions you might have. Also, if you know anyone else who would be interested in this, please inform them as well. -- Миборовский 02:54, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hey there! The Chinese military history task force has been created! Please help us expand Misplaced Pages's coverage of the military history of China. Feel free to list you name here, and invite your friends too! ;) -- Миборовский 01:22, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof 1.2 Now Available
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:58, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Borte
Greetings! While technically you are correct that Kulan's son (and actually, several other of his children received some form of inheritance) received a land grant and troops, only Borte's children were recognized as potential Great Khan's and Ghenghis Khan's formal heirs. I reworded the statement on being recognized as heirs because you were partially correct. old windy bear 01:43, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Request for help on Exotic pet page
Hello, On occasion, information is posted to the exotic pet article that I feel is biased and unfair and violates the NPOV. Can you help me maintain a neutral stance on this article?
Sam Sloan announcement
"I did not 'attempt' to post 100 chess biographies on Misplaced Pages. I did post 100 chess biographies on Misplaced Pages. All but one of them is still there. I merely waited until Ralf Callenberg, Paul Rubin and Louis Blair were not looking and reposted them. I added a new biography yesterday and no I am not going to tell you where it is for fear that they will vandalize it again." - Sam Sloan (samhsloan@gmail.com, NNTP-Posting-Host: 68.199.110.255, 11 Jul 2006 05:23:13 -0700) http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.chess.misc/msg/f245a0650c22f010?hl=en
