Monster High is a upcoming American live-action musical film producted by Universal Studios based on Monster High doll line by Mattel. This film was scheduled to be released on October 7, 2016.

Production

On June 11, 2010, Universal Pictures has acquired the film rights to create a live-action theatrical musical film based on the Monster High doll line. Award-winning producers Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will team with writing pair Alfred Gough and Miles Millar on the film and schedule the film to be released on October 7, 2016.
