Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide adequate independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Although you gave some references, the text was largely unsourced, or sourced to your own sites. For example, the claimed accolades are referenced onlyt to your web site, not an independent source.
- little-known... self-proclaimed...—doesn't suggest notability, you can't decide yourself you are notable
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: authority on improving immigrant outcomes... "powerful voice" for the successful integration... has no current emotional ties with his country of birth... He is also known... Nick created Canada's first national recognition of immigrant contributions to Canada... His speeches are biased in his experiences as an Indian and he proudly badges himself as having no Indian friends...
- See WP:Autobiography. You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that you are notable enough for a Misplaced Pages article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Misplaced Pages:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Misplaced Pages:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.
The article is very poorly referenced and lacking in neutrality and encyclopaedic tone, but if you like I can sandbox the text for you to improve in user space Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:20, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
