Hello, and yes as a national-level politician he should be safe from deletion, but 1: you don't need to state so in the body of the article (I've removed), and 2: since he is a living person, the article is required to have at least one source, or (per our policies) it can be deleted in 7 days. I haven't tagged it as such, though it likely soon will be, so please add a source to support a fact about him. Thanks, Crow 23:29, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Your recent edits on NBC Nightly News
Your recent editing history at NBC Nightly News shows that you are on the verge of getting engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:05, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- I have already expressed my concerns on the discussion Talk:NBC Nightly News#Brian Williams' name just got cut from 'NBC Nightly News', and within the past couple of days you have been reverted be me and at least once by another person. Please participate in that discussion, otherwise any further edit warring may get you temporarily blocked from editing. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:05, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- Also looking at your recent edits, you appear to be on the verge of edit warring on The Sound of Music (film) too. I suggest you cease on that too, and discuss on Talk:The Sound of Music (film) . Again, persistent edit warring is sufficient grounds for you to be blocked. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:19, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- I see you also have interacted with User:Twofortnights, and you probably read his story about his unfortunate encounter with a couple of admins who, in my opinion, probably should have done better due diligence when responding to the vandalism issues on the visa articles. Therefore, I hope we can resolve this without asking for an uninvolved admin.
- As I stated in the discussion, this inclusion of the phrase "with Brian Williams" is silly. This show has always been basically "NBC Nightly News" since 1970, regardless of the current weeknight anchor. And it is never used on the Saturday or Sunday editions. Adding stuff like "The show has changed names several times" is not completely accurate since the core title of "NBC Nightly News" has been consistent since 1970 -- even on the weekend editions when Williams did not normally work. Thanks for your time. Zzyzx11 (talk) 08:19, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at The Sound of Music (film) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User talk:Betty Logan has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please do not deploy a 3RR notice on an editor's talk page unless they have actually violate WP:3RR. Betty Logan (talk) 20:05, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
