HISTORY
Jeffrey Polnaja was born in Bandung, June 18th, 1962. He sets a record as the first Indonesian to travel circumnavigation by motorcycle more then 75 countries. The title of his journey is Ride For Peace.
Since his early age, he was known as an outdoor sports enthusiast. Climbing a mountain, horseback riding, motorcycle off-road and sky gliding had been parts of his adventurous experience while growing up.
On April 23rd, 2006 he started his journey from Jakarta, INDONESIA to ride around the world. He ride BMW R1150GS Adventure. So far, he has been visited 94 countries in Asia, North Africa, Europe, North America, Central America and South America.
He got “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Indonesian Automobile Association (IMI) in 2009. Since IMI was established more then 100 years ago (1906), only two persons have ever received this prestigious award. In 2011 he published a book based on his journey titled Wind Rider.
Recently, he is in Santiago, Chile, he is preparing to ship his motorcycle to Australia, plan to continue his journey through this continent, New Zealand, Timor Leste and finish in Indonesia.
