Speedy deletion nomination of The Penguin Dance
Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as The Penguin Dance, to Misplaced Pages. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. —C.Fred (talk) 05:54, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:55, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Using IMDB as a source
IMDB is not considered a WP:RS reliable source since - like Misplaced Pages - much of the content can be edited by users. Sometimes IMDB is adequate as a weak source, since some of the information does come from official press releases but better sources are preferred. -- Horkana (talk) 01:08, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
Welcome to Misplaced Pages, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Misplaced Pages is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Pizza appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie 22:44, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Edit warring on Hamish & Andy
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hamish & Andy. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. MikeWazowski (talk) 04:54, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring. Note that your only edits since returning from a two-month break involve reverting in your text, the same material you tried to add in May and August of this year. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Ckatzspy 05:20, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Disambiguation link notification for March 8
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Departure Songs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page French (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Calling an editor control freak is a personal attack (see WP:NPA). Don't drop to that level. Work cooperatively. The editor was correct in removing the headings and quotes, although maybe he removed too many quotes, but he quotes WP:SECONDARY. Did you read that? The edits should be discussed, not reverted (see WP:BRD and Misplaced Pages:Edit warring). The editor then fixed formatting per MOS:CAPS and filled-in references. Reverting all of that is just plain vengeful. Feel free to talk it out at Talk:The Prayer Chain. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 18:20, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
