Infoshop.org is a popular anarchist website, originally founded in January 1995 as the Mid-Atlantic Infoshop by Chuck Munson. Its most popular feature is an open publishing newswire similar to that of Indymedia, with news and analysis of interest to anarchists. It has a number of other sections, including forums, and wikis such as The Matrix: Anti-capitalist Database. Infoshop.org is a part of the Alternative Media Project, and is involved in publishing Practical Anarchy magazine. According to its Alexa rankings, Infoshop is the second most popular anarchist website. Chuck Munson believes this is incorrect and says UK Indymedia (which is ranked as number one) is not an anarchist website.
