Link spam

Hi. I have temporarily blocked your acount because you are spamming articles with your links. Please reply in this space and explain why I should unblock you. Thanks. Nandesuka 12:04, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Nandesuka.

I don't really agree with your definition for spamming. But for me, it's about irrelevant content and pure junk placed in wikipedia articles that constitutes spamming. Yes, I admit I made several links for USUniversities.com but I made them on appropriate locations, like the "Colleges and Universities in California".

Did you tried manually checking what were the content for such links that I added? Those are merely US Universities listings. And, the operator for the USUniversities.com is GoAbroad.com, a well-known and reputable education directory company.

I think you should judge spamming with the content posted, not on the quantity. Sure, most posts that are junk/spammy are in bulk but take note, it's "most but not all". And I think, I am part of those good posts (even though I did it at once).

I consider it abuse of power for anyone to just blatantly blocking other's account simply because they posted quality links in bulk.

Thank you, and I hope you're satisfied with my explanation.
