John Travolta
Good work on the John Travolta article! Welcome to WP!--Lwieise -=- Talk to Me 03:49, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Victor E. Marsden
Superb job of changing that article from a laughable mess. Now it's mostly an article about someone who probably doesn't merit an article at all -- it's really yet another of Ludvikus' articles about the history of the Protocols, and someday we'll figure out a way to collate his obviously extensive research into something more suited to Misplaced Pages.
Keith Olbermann
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your cleanup on Keith Olbermann. Nice job. I'm sure someone will yell at you for the lack of edit summaries, but it won't be me. --BigScaryMike (Talk/Contrib) 03:22, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Eric Clapton article
Hi, it's nice to see someone even more liberal than I! I have a blog @ http://leftwingwiil.tumblr.com/ BUT more importantly, I noticed you did recent edit(s) to Eric Clapton. This article was demoted from being a Featured Article. I just wanted your opinion. I noticed you did not have an e-mail button as other Misplaced Pages editors do. if you want to answer the questions below, you can click onto V Schauf (talk) 19:19, 2 May 2012 (UTC) and press the "talk" link next to it. I want to make the Clapton article a Featured Article again. Do you think that this article deserved to be demoted? What would improve this article? Have you read Clapton's autobiography? I wanted to write to you and others who recently edited the Clapton article. Thanks for your time.V Schauf (talk) 19:19, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Good cleanup
Good job on cleaning up Politics of Bill O'Reilly. Some of the editors have a less-than-pristine grasp of formal diction and tone; I've been meaning to work on it but have been without net access for a hot minute. Thanks! /Blaxthos ( t / c ) 20:37, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Vince Neil
Nice work on the Vince Neil article. I had noticed that it needed some attention but hadn't got around to it. Jonesy (talk) 02:24, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

The Island
Hey -- thanks for your excellent edits on the plot summary of The Island (2005 film). Also, just to let you know, I restored the detailed plot -- and then removed the fluffy OR stuff. Also, in the closing scene of the film, I don't recall seeing an island. Anyway, let's pick it up on the corresponding talk page. Thanks once again, --Otheus (talk) 22:50, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Great NPOV work
The Cleanup Barnstar | ||
Your extensive work on Troy Davis case has greatly improved the aricle. It has made the article unbiased and eliminated the POV tone. I thank you for your dedication to NPOV!!! JakeH07 (talk) 03:30, 10 May 2009 (UTC) |

Amelia Earhart
The article has been restored to an earlier version as your edits did not make sense and were not based on research, rather on stylistic conventions. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 12:05, 2 July 2009 (UTC).
- Please excuse the rant, as I was too precipitous in dismissing your contributions, casting them aside since they were not accompanied by references. You are entirely right that there are errors in writing conventions that have to be addressed, and with that in mind, I am doing a thorough review of your edits and will restore them as appropriate. My only disclaimer is that this article since I started on it three years ago has been the scene of many edit conflicts, typically over content as few editors were preoccupied with style or writing issues. Thank you for your efforts to improve the article. One larger section of text that mysteriously has lost its source was, nonetheless restored to an earlier version. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 12:28, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Barnstar
Fairey's been on my watchlist for years, but I never could get myself to sit down and give it the go-over it needed (even more so after he got big with the Obama series and the article really exploded). I saw what you did and it was as good or better than what I could've done, therefore I feel justified in awarding this:

How I Met Your Mother
I notice you are editing How I Met Your Mother articles. I've gathered a few links that may be of use. Lots of nicely formatted references. View the source of the page and save them to a text file, then you can do a quick search if you ever want a nicely formatted episode reference. (In retrospect I'm wishing I'd taken the episode list and converted the whole thing into a complete list of episode references but only thought of it recently.) The citations to reviews might not be so much use but I found it easier to copy an old citation and fill in the new details than to write it out ever time.
With just a few reviews you can dramatically raise the quality of an episode article, many of the south park episode articles are very good. There are so many editors deleting first and not bothering even to ask for citations you can massively rewrite most articles if you are just willing to dig into the article history and restore content and find a few citations. (If you look at enough articles you will start to see the same names deleting instead of helping or challenging others to to improve articles.)
Not every episode has a "Barney's blog" but I reckon more than half do. Some editors deleted them links from articles instead of using the Wayback machine at the Internet Archive to fix the dead links.
Please share the links, especially with editors who are trying to make constructive edits and improve the articles. -- Horkana (talk) 00:59, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Misplaced Pages:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 17:31, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Curiousity
Not the usual User or Talk page of a vandal; not a clear case of vandalism; but with the hint of Bill Gates and "bilge" in the addition of the "G" to "BillGionaires" it's, well, curious. And it's fixed if it was a slip; or reverted if it was otherwise. Cheers. Swliv (talk) 00:10, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Pride 2014
Hi Treybien. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Misplaced Pages, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. If you are interested, you might consider creating a page for a major city (or cities!) near you, with a list of LGBT-related articles that need to be created or improved. This would be a tremendous help to Misplaced Pages and coverage of LGBT culture and history. Thanks for your consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions! --Another Believer (Talk) 15:55, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Film superheroes category is not for comic/pulp characters
I've reverted several of your edits, since they do not fit the criteria for Category:Film superheroes, namely, "Superhero characters originating in motion pictures." Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nazanin Boniadi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Queen Esther. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A page you previously contributed to, Joe Williams (jazz singer), had many prior revisions deleted due to copyright issues. For details please see Talk:Joe Williams (jazz singer). Your prior version may be temporarily restored upon request if you need it for reference to re-incorporate constructive edits that do not make use of the copyright infringing material.
