Misplaced Pages editing bot run by Jmax-
This user account is a bot operated by Jmax- (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. This bot does not yet have the approval of the community, or approval has been withdrawn or expired, and therefore shouldn't be making edits that appear to be unassisted except in the operator's or its own user and user talk space.
Administrators: if this bot is making edits that appear to be unassisted to pages not in the operator's or its own userspace, please block it.

This is a bot run by User:Jmax-, written in Perl using WWW::Mechanize and a custom framework. It works automatically, but is issued commands manually.

Notes

  • Commas may be added to the generated numbers with the 'formatnum:' magic word, i.e. {{formatnum: {{User:Jmax-bot/FACount.js}}}} turns the output 6641 into 6,641.
  • .js user subpages may be edited only by the owner of the account and administrators. In the event of a bot malfunction, administrators should fully protect the subpage and revert to the last good version.
  • A whitelist system is in place to prevent possible vandalism. A list of current whitelisted users can be found on the appropriate debug pages. To request to become a whitelisted user, please have a currently whitelisted user sponsor you and have them leave me a message.
