Richard Kiel (born September 13 1939 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actor best known for his role as "Jaws" in the James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker. He is very tall: over 7 feet in height.

To be exact, Kiel is 7 ft and 1 3/4 inches (217.805 cm). He used to state that he was 7 ft and 2 inches, since it is easier to remember. Kiel noted this in his 2002 autobiography Making It Big in the Movies (ISBN 1903111315).
