Dag Meoushan (Hebrew: דג מעושן means smoked fish) is a dish made of smoked trout. it is traditionally eaten as part of meze, especially at breakfast, Rainbow trouts can be found at the Dan River were locals fishing them, it is a regional dish of the region, sometimes rosemary leaves are added for taste.

Trouts can be found in streams and rivers from the nothern parts of southern Israel to the north of the country.
