Flag icons (?)

Why is this article using flag icons for the nationality of the listed dancers -- especially on a list Russian dancers? If no one responds to this query in the next ten days, I propose to remove the flags as an inappropriate use per WP:FLAGICON. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 09:07, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
