Chris Williams is the Chief Product Officer for IHeartRadio. His role at IHeartMedia, formerly ClearChannel, has continued to evolve .

Early career

Williams started his radio career in his hometown of Athens, Georgia. Serving as a night time on air DJ named "Joe Momma". His next position was to Star94 WSTR and shortly after to Susquehanna Radio as Assistant Program Director in 1997-2001. He then became Program director of their alternative rock station WWWQ 99X. Producing Atlanta's most listened to Morning Show "The Morning X."

ClearChannel picked Williams up in 2005 as PD of WBZY "105.3 The Buzz" and then onto WKLS "Project 96.1" He still continued his on air personality on the afternoon show know as "The OC".

His role continued as Active Rock Brand coordinator for the company.

Present

He then was promoted to VP of programming for the Cincinnati cluster of the now IHeartMedia's stations (700 WLW, WEBN, KISS 107, WCKY, WKRC, WSAI )

Williams has hit record numbers since he joined the IHeartRadio team based in New York in 2013. IHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas has boasted more than 22.5 billion social impressions the past two years in a row.
