By the start of 2015, many programs (Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Nebraska, Stanford, Tennessee, Wisconsin) already had stand-alone articles for every season. Most programs fell far short of such full coverage. Accordingly, we launched a campaign to create season articles on many of the important historic football programs. To date, we've created more than 1,400 new season articles this year. This post updates the progress as we approach the year's end:

• Arkansas (700 wins, 1 NC) - Season articles created for 91 years from 1899 to 1989 . Still needed: 1990-99
• Army (652 wins, 3 NCs) - Season articles created for 76 years from 1890-1978 (schedule tables still needed). Still needed: 1980-84, 1986-2004
• Auburn (742 wins, 2 NCs) - Season articles created for four seasons from 1925-1928. Still needed: 1929-30, 1933-43
• Baylor (580 wins) - Season articles created for 19 seasons: 1901, 1915-1919, 1922, 1924, 1970-1980. Still needed: 1899-1900, 1902-1914, 1920-1921, 1923, 1925-1969, 1981-1989
• Carlisle Indians - Season articles created for 25 seasons from 1893-1917
• Chicago (2 NCs) - Season articles created for eight seasons as follows: 1892, 1894, 1898-1899, 1905, 1908, 1913, and 1922. Still needed: 1893, 1895-1897, 1900-1904, 1906-1907, 1909-1912, 1914-1921, 1923-2013
• Colorado (681 wins, 1 NC) - Still needed: 1890-1952, 1954-1962, 1964-1966, 1973-1976
• Columbia - Season articles created for 1870, 1872, 1901. Still needed: 1873-1874, 1876-1900, 1902-2010
• Cornell (623 wins, 5 NCs) - Season articles created for 1908, 1914. Still needed: 1887-1907, 1909-1913, 1916-1920, 1924-1938, 1940-2010
• Dartmouth (643 wins, 1 NC) - 1888-1889, 1893-1898, 1903, 1907-1908, 1913, 1924. Still needed: 1881-1887, 1890-1892, 1899-1902, 1904-1906, 1909-1912, 1914-1923, 1926-2010
• Detroit (1 NC) - Season articles created for 48 seasons from 1896, 1917, 1919-1964. Still needed: 1897-1916, 1918
• Duke - Season articles created for 20 seasons from 1891, 1933-1941. Still needed: 1888-90, 1892-94, 1920-32, 1942-95.
• Florida State (3 NCs) - Still needed: No single-season articles for the pre-Bobby Bowden era. See Florida State Seminoles football, 1947–75
• Georgia (786 wins, 2 NCs) - Season articles created for 113 years from 1892-2004
• Ga. Tech (700 wins, 4 NCs) - Season articles created for 1892-26, 1929-1932. Still needed: 1933-51, 1953-89, 1991-95
• Illinois (5 NCs) - Season articles created for 1914, 1919, 1923-24, 1927. Still needed: 1892-1913, 1915-18, 1920-22, 1925-26, 1928-45, 1947-63, 1966-82, 1984-88, 1990, 1992-93
• Indiana - Season article created for 66 seasons from 1930-1995. Still needed: 1887-1929

• Michigan State (681 wins, 6 NCs) - Season articles created for 91 years from 1896-1986 (schedule tables still needed)
• Minnesota (668 wins, 7 NCs) - Season articles created for most of the 114 years from 1890-2003
• Ole Miss (653 wins, 5 NCs) - Season articles created for eight seasons: 1906, 1908-1913, 1927. Still needed: 1890-1905, 1907, 1914-1926, 1928-1958, 1961, 1963-1967, 1969, 1974-1976, 1980-1987, 1991-1994
• Navy (682 wins, 1 NC) - Season articles created for 116 years from 1887-2002
• North Carolina (679 wins) - Season articles created for 1900-1901, 1922 , 1925, 1929. Still needed: 1902-1921, 1923-1924, 1926-1928, 1930-1978, 1981-1993
• Northwestern: Season articles created for 18 seasons from 1875–76, 1882, 1892, 1903, 1926, 1930-1931, 1936, 1950-1959. Still needed: 1886, 1888-1891, 1893-1902, 1904, 1908-1925, 1927-1929, 1932-1935, 1937-1942, 1944-1947, 1949, 1960-1962, 1964-1968, 1970-1987, 1989-1994
• Notre Dame (892 wins, 11 NCs) - Season articles created for approximately 59 seasons: 1906-1923, 1925-1928, 1930, 1931-1942, 1944-1945, 1951-1963, 1965, 1967-1969, 1980-1981, 1983-1986, 1989-2001. Still needed: 1888-1905.
• Ohio State (874 wins, 8 NCs) - Season article created for 1912. Still needed: 1895-1898, 1900-1903, 1905-1911.
• Oklahoma (860 wins, 7 NCs) - Season articles created for 55 years from 1895-1949
• Oregon - Article created for 1929. Still needed: 1917-18, 1920-26, 1928-32, 1934-38, 1940-47, 1949-62, 1965-67.

• SMU (3 NCs) - Season articles created for 1915-1916, 1922-1935, 1940, 1966, 1984. Still needed: 1917-1921, 1936-1939, 1941-1946, 1949, 1950-1958, 1960-1965, 1967, 1969-1980, 1983, 1985-1986, 1991-1996, 1999-2007

• Texas (886 wins, 4 NCs) - Season articles created for 67 seasons 1893-1968.
• Texas A&M (717 wins, 3 NCs) - Season articles created for 1910-1919, 1921, 1925, 1927, 1939-1941, 1967, 1986. Most of the coverage consists of decade lists rather than stand-alone articles. See, e.g., Texas A&M Aggies football, 1900–09. Still needed: 1894-1909, 1920, 1922-1924, 1926, 1928-1938, 1942-1955, 1958-1966, 1968-1974, 1978-1984.
• TCU - Season articles created for 1929, 1932, 1935-1938, 1944, 1951, 1955, 1958-1959, 1998-2015. Still needed: 1896-1899, 1901-1928, 1930-31, 1933-34, 1939-43, 1945-50, 1952-54, 1956-57, 1960-97.
• Texas Tech - Season article created for 1976. Beyond that, the coverage consists of a omnibus schedule list here: Texas Tech Red Raiders football, 1925–80 and several coaching articles, e.g. Texas Tech Red Raiders football under Jerry Moore. Still needed: 1925-75, 1977-2005.
• UCLA (576 wins 1 NC)- Still needed: 1923-37, 1939, 1942-50, 1952, 1955-64, and 1966-70. Also, reliance on a bare-bones decades list for the 80s: UCLA Bruins football, 1980–89.
• USC (811 wins, 11 NCs) - Season articles created for 88 years from 1914 to 2001
• Utah - Season articles created for 1922. Still needed: 1892-1921, 1923-1929, 1931-1989
• Va. Tech (701 wins) - Season articles created for 28 seasons from 1892-1916, 1918, 1922-1923. Still needed: 1919-1921, 1924-1983, 1985-1986
• Washington - Still needed: There are only two single-season articles prior to 2005. Instead, there are simply bare-bones decades lists. See Washington Huskies football, 1990–99.
• West Virginia (723 wins) - Season articles created for 1919. Still needed: 1894-1917, 1920-1921, 1923-1952, 1956-1965
