Randy Heit is the creator of the very popular Doom modification called ZDoom. ZDoom is a very nice upgrade from Doom. ZDoom was created by Heit using id Software's and various others' sources. As Heit states, "ZDoom is an enhanced port of the official DOOM source code to Win32. As such, it not only works with (and requires) Windows 95/NT 4.0, but it also adds new features not found in the version published by id Software."

Aside from ZDoom, Heit has created other masterpieces from the Amiga Animation titled "Jungle Man" to an interactive computer game called "Charles and Vincent" which unfortunately was never finished.
