Christopher Gabrieli is a Hungarian-American Massachusetts businessman and American politician. He was the Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts in 2002. He declined Attorney General Tom Reilly's offer to be his running mate and is now running for Governor of Massachusetts. He announced his candidacy for governor of Massachusetts in April 2006. (see Massachusetts gubernatorial election, 2006). The son of Hungarian immigrants, Gabrieli grew up in Buffalo, New York. He is a graduate of Harvard College and is married with five children (ages five to twelve).
