Disambiguation link notification for April 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Battle of Edson's Ridge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Henderson Field (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of military special forces units

Hi, Given that list is already very large, I don't think that listing the organic sub-units of the units listed is helpful to readers. It seems more likely that readers interested in those details will follow the links to the articles on the units themselves. I hope that's OK. Regards, Nick-D (talk) 11:10, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

no problem. I would keep the netherland marine SOF structure though. it's isn't made clear in the home page. SWF88 (talk) 16:21, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

What Russia denies

Hello, I'm not going to get into an edit war, but my text "Russian air strikes have killed 1,000 civilians, including 200 children; the Russian government denies thisand insists it only attacking terrorist targets". This, in context=attacking civilian targets. The only possible difference in meaning could be that they DON'T deny killing numerous civilians, simply deny "hitting civilian areas", which I suspect is not what they mean. Whichever version others think better my motives were readability, rather than any difference in content. Pincrete (talk) 17:07, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

content should relfect source. source says russia denies targetting civilian areas. SWF88 (talk) 22:01, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm AlexTheWhovian. Misplaced Pages is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. all of the addition mention(and criticize) that it's historically inaccurate. SWF88 (talk) 09:04, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
With a non-neutral title. Alex|The|Whovian 10:44, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
how is it a non neutral title? a criticism section's title should reflect the content. otherwise it's misleadingSWF88 (talk) 11:29, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
You believe that "Historical inaccuracy and criticism" is neutral? Historical accuracy can discuss whether it sticks to what happened and if it defers. Historical inaccuracy can only discuss what's different. It's also unnecessarily long for a section header. And given that you edit-warred over it, it could very well have been grounds for a report. Alex|The|Whovian 14:18, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
OK>. let's make it criticism of 'historical inaccuracies then'SWF88 (talk) 21:51, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
That doesn't fix it in any way. Alex|The|Whovian 02:05, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
i still don't get the reasoning behind it. that is a criticism section. SWF88 (talk) 07:46, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Vikings (TV series). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Alex|The|Whovian 15:34, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
