By all means break the rules, and break them beautifully, deliberately and well. That is one of the ends for which they exist ...
Pedantry and mastery are opposite attitudes toward rules. To apply a rule to the letter, rigidly, unquestioningly, in cases where it fits and in cases where it does not fit, is pedantry ... To apply a rule with natural ease, with judgment, noticing the cases where it fits, and without ever letting the words of the rule obscure the purpose of the action or the opportunities of the situation, is mastery.

You may find it interesting to revisit the Wireless power or wireless energy transmission article and check out the recent changes. Here is an older version that will bring back some memories, https://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Wireless_power&direction=next&oldid=404193508 .

Global account
Hi Reddi! As a Steward I'm involved in the upcoming unification of all accounts organized by the Wikimedia Foundation (see m:Single User Login finalisation announcement). By looking at your your account, I realized that you don't have a global account yet. ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Where did Tesla magnifier image come from?
Hi! I would like to find out where this image comes from. You are listed as the uploader, but no source is given. It is a valuable historic image, obviously public domain, but without source information it will eventually be deleted from Wikimedia Commons. I want to prevent that. It is a circuit of Tesla's magnifying transmitter, drawn by Nikola Tesla, I would guess it is from one of his patents, but I can't find which. Can you help? Do you know the original source? If not, where did you get it from? Thank you very much for your help. --Chetvorno 14:42, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
