Hi Russell.mo, a few days ago you had a question for me here, I didn't have time to reply then, but now it is gone. I understand that you may like to keep a clean talk page, but I'm also not going to dig through the history to find it again. If you'd like you can post the question directly to my talk page. - SemanticMantis:
- So so so, late late late!!!
- Firstly, I messaged on my page cause you won't clean your page.
- Secondly, the view history option is there, so I'm using WP systematically. A lot of people keep their pages clean, so I thought I'd do the same too.
- Thirdly, Noisy people are out there who'd do that anyway (no matter what).
- You went on holiday I guess. Don't mind if I call you on my page please?!? Let me know if you do, I won't mind and won't disturb you...

- Yeah, I've been traveling a bit. I don't mind if you ping me, but no, I won't go digging through your page history. Lol, I have cleaned my talk page at least three times this year. I don't really care if you keep yours full or empty, but if you ask me a question here, leave it here, or I might not be able to respond. SemanticMantis (talk) 18:24, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- It is even better to archive your talk page than to clean it. While cleaning a talk page is permitted, if an editor has been given warnings, cleaning them off the talk page can be seen as an unsuccessful attempt to blow away the warnings. So: You are permitted to keep a clean talk page, but you are not encouraged to do so. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:29, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- Robert McClenon: Roby, I dislike having baseless arguments. I understand your point of view, all I can say is: Opinions vary. Regards. -- Apostle (talk) 19:45, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- SemanticMantis: Okay! Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeers! -- Apostle (talk) 19:45, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
