Actually

I have an account, however, it is not worth the hassle for me to sign in only to sign out once I have finished a minor edit. 128.187.229.83 23:23, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  1. p.s. I am at a library so this is not always my IP and definitely not my user name.

Thank you

Your warm welcome is appreciated. There‘s plenty to fix and add in Misplaced Pages, and I will do my best to achieve this.

RfA nomination

Hello Lst27,

Just wanted to say thanks for the vote of support at RfA. It looks like I've made the cut, and I look forward to serving Misplaced Pages. spencer195 17:31, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

"but I'm kind of concerned about his behavior" - Can I ask what you mean by this statement? I don't think you and I have directly interacted much, and I'd like to know if this is because of anything specific. -- Netoholic @ 20:06, 2004 Oct 29 (UTC)

Think about this... by not checking the facts yourself, you are essentially giving everybody else a free "extra vote". By not finding out if the things they say are true, you might actually be siding with people who have another agenda or are just wrong. Investigate my contributions for yourself and come to your own conclusions. -- Netoholic @ 23:20, 2004 Oct 29 (UTC)

Thank You Friend

I want to thank you for your support on my nomination. It looks like I'm not going to make it but, that's life. I want you to know that you can count on me as your Wikipedian friend.

John W. Davis

I think he was born in West Virginia but was from New York at the election (like Richard Nixon (California, as everyone knows) in 1968?). Anyway I think it is worth differentiating the two, as I've started to do on the list. -- Decumanus 00:58, 2004 Nov 2 (UTC)

_Please_ change your sig!

Please give consideration to changing your sig - I don't like being hit with a blinding flash of yellow every time I visit RFA. -- Grunt 🇪🇺 00:51, 2004 Nov 11 (UTC)

Much better; thanks for your swift reply and consideration. :) -- Grunt 🇪🇺 00:58, 2004 Nov 11 (UTC)
