Johannes Kriege (22 July 1859 - 28 May 1837) was a German jurist (lawyer), diplomat and politician.

Life

Johannes Daniel Jakob Kriege was born in Lüdinghausen, a midsized town then in Prussia's Province of Westphalia, located between Münster to its northeast and Dortmund to its south. Starting in 1877 he studied jurisprudence at Göttingen and Strasburg, entering the Prussian diplomatic service in 1886.
