Hidarnes I Orontid (Template:Lang-hy) was a King of the Orontid Dynasty of Armenia, reigning in the end of the 6th century BC.

Hidarnes established "Yervandakan" feast in the name of Orontid Dynasty, which sounds in Armenian as "Yervanduni". The feast was dedicated to Orontid Dynasty, Van city or as it was called in those days Yervandakan, Van lake and Hayots Canion Gorge.
