A little honesty in the edit summaries, okay? --Calton | Talk 13:44, August 13, 2005 (UTC)

Ray, truly I am a friend but I worry that you will be in trouble for the edit summary problem. Keep your wits about you. Coqsportif 04:09, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

My Sig

Stirling Newberry left a comment here and asked me to rfc him for his spam. I might.

I see that you are having troubles with Mr Newbury. I'm not in the slightest bit surprised. It isn't the first time that he's been involved regrettable behaviour and sadly i don't think it will be the last. Maybe you should try ignoring him for a while? --Nicholas 17:12, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

need your help on two RFCs

Please visit these pages and post a comment in support with an example of how this is true. Thanks

Miss you?

Nah, I just don't like bald-faced liars. --Calton | Talk 21:22, August 25, 2005 (UTC)

Gee, why do you have to launch a personal attack against me? What a way to talk to me, the person who happens to be YOUR father.

My father died 20 years ago, jackass, of a cancer that took six months to kill him: you, on the other hand, wouldn't have been fit to clean his bedpan with your tongue. Now go away, you obvious little troll. --Calton | Talk 21:17, August 26, 2005 (UTC)

Don't remove other user's comments, it's bad for your karma.

Get bent, it's good for your karma. --Calton | Talk 15:57, August 27, 2005 (UTC)

Don't revert my comments

I did not intentionally blank your comments at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. I only edited within the Anyone else getting tired of this? section (as you can plainly see from the article history), and if your edit got blanked it can only be a Mediawiki bug. On the other hand, you did intentionally blank my comments on the talk page. Don't do that. -- Curps 16:14, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

OK, no problem. -- Curps 15:45, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

User talk:Calton

Please do not make personal attacks on other contributors. Misplaced Pages has a policy against personal attacks. Some users may remove personal attacks, and you may be banned from editing. Comment on content, not on the contributor. For further help, see Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution. Thank you. --Viriditas | Talk 08:03, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

You've been blocked for trolling Theresa Knott (a tenth stroke) 16:27, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

My Block

First of all, how am I a sockpuppet? I was an anon that created a username. Secondly, I admit I was pushing Calton's buttons, but what about the fact that he's getting away with obscene and misleading actions on his part? Ray Lopez 16:37, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

Arbitration Committee

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I feel that I was perm blocked due to an admin's political and personal feelings towards someone. It's been almost a year now, and I would like to come back.

Decline reason:

Take Mangojuice's advice. Even though the block was for actions so long ago, you would still be blocked under the terms of WP:USERNAME for having a username likely to cause confusion with another editor (User:Ruy Lopez). Therefore you need to abandon this account, get a neutral username and start again. The instructions for how to do so are at the bottom of this page. --ЯEDVERS 12:55, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

My suggestion is to simply open a new account. I feel that I shouldn't unblock you, as your username was chosen to be very similar to User:Ruy Lopez, and your first edit was to change Ruy Lopez's vote from one side of a contentious poll to another. If you wait 24 hours without trying to edit or anything else, you should be able to create a new account. Mangojuice 03:48, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Username change

Your username (Ray_Lopez) has been blocked indefinitely because it is either inappropriate or too similar to an existing username (see our blocking policy for more information). You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Misplaced Pages under a more appropriate username, and in a constructive manner. See Misplaced Pages:Username for guidance on selecting an appropriate username. You may also edit Misplaced Pages without creating an account. You are not allowed to edit Misplaced Pages under an inappropriate username. If you would like to discuss the block, you may edit your talk page or email the administrator who blocked you.

Due to Misplaced Pages's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible — if this doesn't happen within an hour or so, please email an administrator and explain the situation (see the list of administrators).

If you want to keep the contributions from your old account for your new one, please add the following to your user talk page: {{Username change request|new username}} (or {{ucr|new username}} for short). This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page. Note that this can only be done before you create the new one. If you wish to change to a new username, please visit Misplaced Pages:Changing username for information. In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is a lot easier to simply create a new account.
