Template:Linkless-date Erol's refers to two companies, both founded by Erol Onaran, a Turkish immigrant to Virginia.

Erol's Video was a large successful video rental company in the 1980s. Erol sold it to Blockbuster Video for several million dollars. Its success was wide-spread enough to spawn imitations. In La Paz, Bolivia, there are several video rental stores called Errol's using the same font and red text on a yellow background for their logo.

Using the money from the sale of the video company, Erol expanded his TV repair company to sell computers, and then began selling dial-up internet access in the mid 1990s. The company, now called Erol's Internet, was eventually sold to RCN for a large sum of cash and stock. It remains a brand of RCN, although most business is conducted under the name RCN or Starpower (a joint venture of RCN and Virginia Power).

The Onaran family retains a small store in a strip-mall under the name Erol's Computer which sells computer parts and repairs computers and video equipment.
