Krueger Middle School is located in San Antonio. It is part of Northeast Independent School district. Two magnet school programs are housed at the Krueger campus: Krueger-School of Applied Technology (K-SAT), which consists of 6K Thunderbirds, 7K Titans, and 8K Voyagers, and Integrated Media Applications at Krueger Middle School (I-MAK), which currently consists of 6I and 7I.
K-SAT is based around rocketry, flight, and robotics. I-MAK includes a special emphasis in media production, city planning, and computer technology. The teams have integrated classes; math (including algebra and geometry), English, science, social studies (6K), history (6I, 7K, 8K), technology (6I), rocketry/aviation (7K, 8K), robotics (7k), and radio satellite communications (8K) are all connected in each teaching unit. This integrated approach allows children to immediately see the real-world application of traditional academic content, while enabling them to participate in advanced coursework while still at the middle school level.

Terminolgy
- Twinkies: 6th graders
- Marshmallows: 7th graders
- Oreos: 8th graders
- Krueger Main : Students who attend normal Krueger classes.
The only term that is really applied, however, is Twinkies. For some reason people are less likely to call 7th and 8th graders by their pet names, rather than the normal, textbook names.
It seems that the reason the names were made is to put the sixth graders down, i suspect the names for the 7th and 8th graders were made by a couple of daring 6th graders.
