The Republic of Singapore Police Force, as the main agency tasked with maintaining law and order in the city-state, has consistantly managed to keep Singapore's crime rate low.

Police National Service officers are known as "Special Constables," and hence have "SC/" as a prefix to their ranks. Hence, a Police National Service Corporal will have his rank denoted as "SC/CPL"
Trainee Officers have a "T/" prefixed to their ranks.
Volunteer Special Constabulary Officers are distinguished by a "(V)" indicated as a surfix, hence writtern as "CPL (V)" for example.
The Police Constable and Lance Corporal ranks have been removed from the regular police force, but are still in existance in the Gurkha Contingent.
Senior Police Officers

- Deputy Superintendent (DSP)
- Superintendent
- Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC)
