Rebecca-Zarah Mir (* 23 December 1991 in Aachen) is a German model and a presenter. She was second in the sixth season of Castingshow Germany's Next Topmodel.

Life

Private

Rebecca Mir's father Asam is an immigrant from Afghanistan, her mother Mareike is German. She has a two-year-old brother and a thirteen-year-old sister and lived until 2012 with her mother in Monschau-Imgenbroich near Aachen. She attended the St. Michael High School in Monschau. From December 2011 to April 2012, she was associated with the lead singer Sebastian Deyle. In August 2012 she announced that she is together with her Let's-dance-dance partner Massimo Sinató. In the fifth season of the show, they were second behind Magdalena Brzeska and Erich Klann. Mir and Sinató married on Sicily on June 27, 2015.

Participation in Germany's Next Topmodel

In 2010, Mir again applied for Germany's Next Topmodel after she failed a year earlier in the casting for the fifth season and then took part in a six-month model training in Kerkrade participated. She was selected for the first show of the sixth season with 49 other participants. During this time, Mir was able to secure orders from the Dirndl manufacturer Krüger. In the final on June 9, 2011, Rebecca Mir finished second, before Amelie Klever and behind Jana Beller.

I received a contract with ONEeins Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heidi Klum GmbH, headed by Heidi Klum 's father Günther. One month after the end of Germany's Next Topmodel she ran for the label Lena Hoschek and Minx at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin and also presented parts of the Jorge Gonzalez collection at the "Chicas Walk".

In July 2011, Mir participated in the entertainment broadcast by Jürgen von der Lippe Ich liebe Deutschland. In August 2011, she reported on the Reality TV format "Die Alm". One month later she ran for New York Fashion Week for the fashion designer Christian Siriano, who won Heidi Klum's US Castingshow Project Runway in 2008. In addition, she was on the cover of the Cosmopolitan and 2011 on the cover of the magazine GQ as well as on the TV feature film.

Since then Mir is mainly booked on the German fashion market. In the framework of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin she ran 2012 at the Grazia Preview Fashion Show and for Anja Gockel. In 2013 Mir was on the Berlin catwalks of the labels Minx by Eva Lutz, Lena Hoschek, Anja Gockel, Schacky and Jones, Laurèl and Miranda Konstantinidou. At the Berlin Fashion Week 2014 Rebecca Mir was booked by Anja Gockel, Riani, Dimitri and Miranda Konstantinidou. At the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin, Mir was also represented at five shows. In June 2012, she appeared on the cover of the German FHM, after she took the first place at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World in the reader's poll.

She moderated on the 7th June 2012 backstage at the final of the seventh season of Germany's Next Topmodel and on June 14th 2012 a show about the "most unforgettable moments" of the castingshow. This was repeated in the following seasons. On 30 July 2012, she chaired the ProSieben magazine taff with Daniel Aminati. Also for ProSieben, Mir told me about the Oscar loan in Los Angeles. On 20 November of that year, she gave her acting debut in the ARD television series In aller Freundschaft, she presented the medical student Anna Fischer.

In March 2013 it was announced that Mir did not renew their contract with ONEeins management. Since then, she has been contracting with the agency B W M Communications. During the Berlin Fashion Week in the summer of 2013, she starred Julia Starps in fashionable fashion. On March 21, 2013, she and Alexander Mazza moderated the Vienna Awards for Fashion and Lifestyle", on 23 November 2013 the TV total Turmspringen and on March 8, 2014 the Wok World Championship together with Steven Gätjen and Matze Knop.
