He apparently died and disappeared from records before his father and his younger brother Amenhotep succeeded instead. He seems to have died toward the end of his father's reign. His brother, Amenhotep oddly may have been his father's coregent when Tuthmose was still alive.
He served as priest of Ptah in ancient Memphis, and had the full titles of Crown Prince, Overseer of the Priests of Upper and Lower Egypt, High Priest of Ptah at Memphis and sm-priest of Ptah.
